Wow, this is amazing. I enjoyed every minute of it. The cost was 20.00 per person, and it was with every penny. The bears were amazing and the cubs were so cute.

Although there is not much to do in the spring season, this is still a great place to visit. My personal favorite part of this place is the prairie dog exhibit. I love the fact you can view prairie dogs from up close in there.

When I thought of the "badlands", I always thought of a desolate landscape....... The Badlands National Park is actually quite beautiful, with many hiking opportunities, & plentiful wildlife.

We made this stop on our way to the Black Hills and enjoyed it. Would have liked to see the museum inside but it was still worth the stop

It was cold and very windy while we were in Rapid City but it was fun driving around the center of town and spotting all the statues of Presidents!

This is a cute local shop. There is a large variety of items. Some of the items are a little more expensive. If you go be sure to go upstairs and view the artwork, there are some beautiful pieces.

We were greeted by friendly staff and then took the short walk to the chapel. The workmanship is excellent, such a beautiful and unique building. We enjoyed the short prayer path through the forested area as well as a visit to the tiny museum and gift shop.

Small spot on a hill overlooking Rapid city. There are about 5 dinosaurs along a short trail. It is on the national Register of Historic Places. It has been an attraction for years. I was there 65 years ago! It is worth a quick stop especially with dino nuts kids. There is a nice gift shop and they sell some snacks too. There is no charge.

This is an excellent museum. Whether you’re an adult or a child! We spent probably an hour and a half browsing their unique collection of fossils and rocks. The free scavenger hunt available for kids was a hit with our kiddos as well. The free admission was a huge bonus as we were looking for budget-friendly things to do while we were in Rapid City. There is a nice gift shop there and you can leave donations as it all goes towards museum operations. It wasn’t hard to find despite it being on the college campus. I would highly recommend!

Phenomenal exhibits and wonderful hands on activities for kids. We could have spent all day, and my 4 year old can’t wait to go back.

Beautiful park especially in early spring! We love to bike it because it connects to miles of trail through Rapid City through half a dozen other parks & fields and is beautiful and scenic along the water.

We met our son and his family at the Watiki Water Park and stayed for 4 days. On 2 of those days we joined our grandkids in the waterpark. I was distressed by the incredible smell of chlorine hanging heavy in the air at all times. I realize that the chlorine is necessary for keeping the water clean, but seriously! My lungs have not been the same since that experience. Our two younger grandchildren had chronic coughs while we were there, and I wonder if it had to do with the chlorine exposure, since they spent much more time there than we did. My eyes were burning after each exposure. That can't be right!

Our hotel room was very nice and the restaurants were good, so I have no problem on that level.

This was an interesting walk. There were al lot of different types of painting and levels of talent mixed in with the typical graffiti tags. It is an alley and there were a couple of questionable characters hanging around that made me a bit nervous. But, I wasn't alone. They didn't bother us. It was still an enjoyable walk and something different to do. There are also a lot of sculptures throughout the downtown area, within a short walking distance of this alley. Statues of Presidents and other notable people can be found on almost every corner.

Surprised to find this in Rapid City. It is the largest Berlin Wall exhibit in the US. Very informative exhibit.
