When Seth died, he was buried facing it .... Clear across the town .....it's an easy hike to get to and you can climb to the top for a breathtaking view!
There is a ungroomed footpath at the monument that leads to a wooden platform that provides sweeping views of the Beartooth mountains and of Spearfish, SD.

If you're up for a bit of a climb, the hike up to Sean Bullock's gravesite is worth it, both for the history as well as the fantastic view.
