    Peaceful treasure.
    My husband and I loved spending the morning at Glendale shoals. It was peaceful. The trails are not long. So this is not a strenuous or fitness walk. There’s a labyrinth to walk , reflect and meditate.
    There are spots you can sit by the falls to relax. You can also walk down to the water on the rocks and take great pictures of the dam or selfies with nature. It was a nice romantic rendezvous.

    Scary
    Went to hells gate and saw a ghost like figure run across the graveyard, didn't stick around too long to find out but it scared the crap outta me.

    So sad...it was closed
    We drove down from Charlotte NC to check out a few places. The first one was closed with no explanation so we headed here...signs all over saying no trespassing and a chain across the road. We drove a long way so we got out and walked down to the river. The mill is gone but being reconstructed and the water wheel is up on a bridge being propped in place. Some day it is going to be a lovely place to visit...legally.

    Amazing up close and personal
    Definitely a top 5 best things to do in Spartanburg. We had an amazing time and learned lots. Karen was a great host and accommodated us with a tour because we were only in town for a day. The farm will not disappoint!
