This is a beautiful ruin of an old tabby church called a "Chapel of Ease" because they allowed the plantation families to attend church without traveling into the city.
The kids enjoyed seeing it too.

The museum is very informative and explained how they educated the children of the Gullah people.
We visited the Penn Center, a school for freed black children since the Emancipation Proclomat0ion in 1863, and has been an part of the civil rights movement since.

It was my kids first time to ride one ever and my daughter got a little scared once she was on her horse but Anne and Mark were so patient with her and taught her a few things before we went on the ride.
They all had their own horse and our guide was great at leading and answering my kids questions. 2 of which this was their first ride alone on their own horse.
