What travelers are saying
- PreamParma Heights, OH10 contributionsNice area to walk around, being off season some stores were closed. There was large variety of stores and restaurants were still opened. The rides were closed, so can tell you about them. We went to the Paula Dean restaurant for an early dinner, they only offer a family style dinner. Rated as a 4 because not everything was opened and the rides were closed as well.Written March 4, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Steven R.Wilmington, NC62 contributionsIt's much like the other aquariums I've been to. The best part was walking through or under the aquarium containing the sharks. I got some good pictures. Good for a couple of hours. Take your time and enjoy the many different species.Written December 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Shawn MPigeon Forge, TN275 contributionsFantastic place for families just not ket kids go alone. People party way too much. It's good music, fun arcades, cheap shoes and classic you should go to at least once. We go almost every year.Written January 10, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Sherri RGardner, KS160 contributionsThe Skywheel was very comfortable. The cars are heated or had AC, depending on the season. Seeing the outgoing storm from the top was pretty awesome. They only put guests with their own party. Great fun being up on top.Written February 20, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - dg8717Hamilton, Canada2 contributionsWe used to go th Myrtle Beach every year for 3 months. We stopped during Covid, and this was our first time back after 2 years. Stayed at Myrtle Beach Resort. Condo was nice, but facilities limited, and indoor pool was too cool for us to use.Vs9ted a number of our favourite restaurants, spent time with friends, and just had a rest. We were really surprised at the amount of traffic--it sure has changed to a busy place with heavy traffic. Weather was cool, but we had a number of nice days. It was about what we expected for February in Myrtle Beach.
We find the people in Myrtle Beach,(and other southern states) generally very friendly and helpful, always pleasant to chat with. Would go again.Written March 2, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Even have favorite store anthropology.Written March 14, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- RudySzymonChicago, IL1,595 contributionsWe spent late afternoon on the fishing pier and on the beach. The pier also has a store with souvenirs and some snacks, including ice cream.Written January 1, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - joHolts Summit, MO4 contributionsWhat a blast from the past! Our group consisted of four couples. We spent two hours here—one hour is definitely not enough. It was so fun to just push a button and play—no quarters needed! It was a great way to spend the afternoon. We will be back when we are in Myrtle Beach again.Written March 2, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ellenkaySaint Louis, MO1,043 contributionsMy adult daughter loves roller coasters; she wanted to ride the Swamp Fox so we visited Family Kingdom Amusement park one evening of our trip. You can buy as many or few "tickets" as you want on a card ( reloadable at locations all over the park) or you can get a wristband; I think there is a deal if you buy one after 5. All she wanted to ride was the roller coaster so that is all we did, besides have a lemonade shake up ( $8) and walk around. there isn't a lot for small kids there --- there might have been one or two tame rides I'd have tried, but I enjoyed just seeing all the lights and people watching. Most of the rides are thrill rides. It was very retro feeling, like an old timey carnival. Very clean. Felt safe there. Free if you just want to walk around. No entrance fee. We found meter parking on the street not too far away on a Friday evening. It was worth a visit. Felt like what I imagine Coney Island to be like, or what it might have used to be like. It is kind of across the street from the ocean but you can't see the ocean from there... maybe if you ride the ferris wheel! PS my daughter really liked the Swamp fox. She said it was pretty smooth; she had heard it was very rough but they might have fixed it up recently.Written July 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BsctlWausau, WI34 contributionsWas nice to see some traditional store front retail still exists. All stores (but not the kiosks) were occupied and open even though it was off season. A good variety of stores. Would not classify the prices as being all that discounted or special.Written March 3, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - KyleS2266Fayetteville, NC22 contributionsGreat ticket prices for any size outing, however don't recommend sitting in first row along base lines, the netting is really slack and is close to you so definitely not for those that aren't paying attention the whole game. Friendly staff around the ballpark, Food and beverage prices are slightly better than some of the parks in have visited in the region. Large selection of items in the team store. Score board could use an update. Overall good experience for a Low A level ballpark.Written August 7, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
