This was a nice, flat family walk that was mostly shaded. The trails are well marked and there is a lot to see. The tree lined walk was pretty and we had it all to ourselves at 10 in the am.
Note: the park entrance is in the back of a large sports complex. The entrance is not well marked- It’s back by the baseball fields.

My friend and I decided to stop by on the spur of the moment at the recommendation of our Lyft driver. We wanted to see the Sullivan's Island Beach area but we had no way to get around other than on foot. Enter Rebellion Roads e-bike rentals. Neither of us had ever ridden an e-bike before but it was a quick learning curve and we got to see so much of the area we wouldn't have otherwise. Lots of fun riding too!

We couldn't book a guided tour as they require 24-hour notice, so we were on our own. Teddy was super helpful in suggesting where to go, what to see, what not to miss, and the best way around. Once we got our bearings with the bikes and with the map, we were fine. The whole tour and suggested path is 17 miles long which can be done in 3 hours, but we did about half that in 4 hours, including a lunch stop. We took our time checking everything out. We still saw a lot. Even with the e-bikes where you don't have to exert yourself pedaling, we weren't prepared for how tiring it can be. It was a hot humid day and you always have to be aware of traffic. I'm sure if we had taken one of the tours it'd have been a lot less stressful.

We ended a bit early just as they were closing up and since we had no car Teddy was kind enough to give us a lift to the beach! That was way cool of him and very much appreciated.

This was such a nice tour! My husband and I had an amazing morning kayaking. Our tour guide was very knowledgable about Shem Creek and the wildlife surrounding it. We even saw a manatee!! Would highly recommend!

I have used the taxi service a number of times. The boat is amazing, stable and easy to board. Even someone with a wheelchair could come aboard. The captains are all very friendly and always take the time to give out a few facts about the harbor area.

Went on the dinner cruise. It was a very nice evening. Service was good. Dinner was excellent. Dessert selection was disappointing and not worth the extra charge. Sat with another couple that were local so they were able to give us "the locals tour guide" which was very informative.

Todd exceeded all expectations. He was informative & kind - all you can ask for in a guide. 12/10 would recommend to anyone looking to go on a charter.

I came here for a Bachelorette Party and was blown away by what was offered by our private charter around the Charleston area and Fort Sumter.

The Captain and Crew were extremely informative about the history of Charleston, had safety as their top priority, and encouraged us to make use of the many amenities on the boat.

The boat is also big enough where you get to witness a bridge closure to raise the drawbridge! To add to the excitement, we also saw some dolphins on our trip (not saying this is guaranteed every single time)!

Overall, I enjoyed the boat cruise and would encourage everyone to charter with Sundog Sailing. You have the chance to support a local business while having an option that's roughly halfway between the Charleston and Folly Beach Area.

Captain Dan was a fantastic host! He was very accommodating and made sure we had a great time. He gave us a heads up about the weather and was flexible in changing our trip time - good call because it stormed big time our original afternoon! Lots of beautiful dolphins, interesting history and a relaxing time.

Kendra was an amazing tour guide thru the Sullivans Island waterway. She’s extremely knowledgeable, helpful (for those of us who don’t do much kayaking) and patient. We highly recommend her!!!

We booked an excursion with Sea Kayak Carolina for a group of College of Charleston folks, and we are so. glad. we. did! Joe was incredibly helpful and, most importantly, flexible right from the start. We requested kayak rentals plus transport for a group of environmental scientists from Mount Pleasant to the Francis Marion National Forest. The Sea Kayak team was gracious enough to reconfigure their outdoor setup for the day to accommodate parking for all our vehicles at their business location. We loaded up in an immaculate 12 passenger Mercedes sprinter van (kayaks in tow), and shuttled to our requested launch point at an off-the-beaten-path ramp in Huger. Joe met us at our requested pull-out location hours later, had dry towels waiting for us, and was so patient as we unloaded all our snacks and other leisure gear before starting the drive back to and through Mount Pleasant in the middle of rush hour.

The entire experience was "tell us what you want, and we'll make it happen". We set our own hours for our adventure, were never rushed, and were trusted that we had experience with our requested location.

Thank you, Joe and Katrina, for such a wonderful experience! We hope to plan a class field trip for our Water Resources students in the fall!

Being able to play golf in January was a treat. Temperature in the 50s with fairway grass pretty much dormant. Greens were lightning fast. Staff was great. We walked with our clubs from the marina which is a half mile walk. Very nice man who takes care of the carts gave us a ride back to the marina so we didn’t have to walk back. Had a good time.

This was our third straight year of going out with Captain Danny Neece. Each time has been a different experience in regard to temperature, water conditions, worm hatch etc. The common denominator is that each trip we caught lots of fish and had a great time. Danny is an awesome guy who knows his business and makes you feel like you've been friends for years. I highly recommend going out with Captain Danny if you are in the Charleston area and wanting to have a great experience fishing.

What a beautiful day! Mike was such a good captain. He was very friendly and put fun music on for our enjoyment. It was the first time on a sailboat and I would do it again with him! You will not be disappointed. We took so many pictures and he gave us the option to doc and swim out if we wanted. We enjoyed the wind in our hair and good conversation. If you have to pick, join Mike and Michelle, they don’t disappoint!

Captain Brandon took me and my son and son in law out for a inshore/nearshore trip to target reds. Man, what a day we had, caught some big bucket list redfish, 1 big blacktip shark and learned so much about fishing the area and waterways. He worked very hard to keep us on fish and exceeded my expectations. He answered our questions and was just a genuinely good Captain/Person. We had a day that we will remember for a long time to come and I hopefully will look him up again soon when the itch to fight some big fish hits. My best friend from work had went out with him a couple times before and I'm so glad he recommended him. If your looking for a memorable fishing trip on a great boat, with a great Captain I definitely would highly recommend him as well.

Booked with Tim on a windy day for inshore fishing. Great time and caught some large reds. Very windy - other charters recommended we pick another day. Highly recommend. Convenient location at Shem Creek.
