We rode our bikes over to explore the island from Mount Pleasant one of the days we visited and it was any easy 15 mile round trip including biking all around the island and Fort Moultrie.
Snow white sands, lots of crashing waves, seclusion, scenery, etc. Sullivan's Island Beach today at low tide was a hard packed sand, great for easy walking.
