What travelers are saying
- reta w11 contributionsWe wanted to see the MINIs to the Max exhibit at the BMW Ultimate Driving Museum before it leaves in January. Our trip was WELL worth it. The staff were warm and informative. They were genuinely glad to be able to talk about the cars with us. There were over 30 MINIS presented chronically, track cars, specialty cars, etc. MINIs were donated by local enthusiasts who had lovingly made their beautiful cars unique~~an official MINI Rule! The exhibits were well curated from the cars to display cases to memorabilia to the wall photos and posters. There was also a fun, reasonably priced gift shop.
If you plan on going to the official BMW museum at Zentrum or the Performance Center, make time to go to the Ultimate Driving Museum. It is well worth it!Written November 16, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Lots of space to wander and many fun events throughout the year. Very clean and well-maintained; restrooms available.Written January 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Simone L1 contributionMy Granddaughter and I visited a few weeks ago and I must say the update is wonderful. Safe, Clean, and welcoming for kids of all ages. I’m so happy to see my tax dollars at work in this fashion. For the Children. I suggest anyone with children in their lives to visit. 💜Written June 21, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Lppeek11 contributionsThe produce had a wonderful selection. We got there prior to closing on Saturday evening. It would be better if they stayed a little longer.
Dillard Ice cream was amazing.Written August 29, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The exhibits rotate every year. Last years was BMW Motorcycles, and the year before was The Power of M, a display of BMW M Performance cars from across the years. A must see for every automobile fan.Written May 28, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Jim SPennsylvania22 contributionsThis is an interesting location to view the remains of an old dam used to power a mill from a century ago. Only a few bits of the old mill foundation remain, but a good part of the dam is still there. Does not take long to see it. The historical display of what the place used to look like when active is very worn and hard to see.
A fairly nice dog park is nearby. This is a good place to stop and take a break from driving and give you dog a stretch. Only a couple of picnic tables there, and no rest rooms or port-a-john.Written February 24, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It located on a small brook and they still use a water wheel to grind the corn. Good people. You can drop by the mill and buy direct. You will enjoy the visit. If you get lucky during your visit the old water wheel may be running that grinding stone.Written October 11, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JonnaGreer, SC35 contributionsGreer Station is great for date night, there are some really great restaurants downtown and we love just strolling the streets and the park for a nice evening walk. It seems like most of the retail shops close really early and most retail space is clothing boutiques so unfortunately, other than eating there's not a lot of shopping that takes place in the evening. We love the venues with live music and especially in the summer when they do movies in the park.Written June 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - newbalance31Cowpens, SC444 contributionsFound this place by Googling local lakes near Greer. My friend and I went. Found a shaded spot at one of the picnic areas. We set out our chairs and had a great lunch. This place is absolutely beautiful. There is a boat ramp, canoe rentals and even restrooms. We will definitely be back if in the area again.Written September 4, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - rudyg644Spartanburg, SC299 contributionsWell most flea markets are out in the open, so when its HOT - well its very hot and when it rains you have to make a run for it. This place has a roof it is opened on the sides and in the middle but each isle is covered and they have fans. Therefore you can walk and see what the vendors have rain or shine. They have regulars and people who are there for a one day sell the junk in my house. Close to the Highway and they even have food vendors if you dare to risk yourself. Food is up there with a lunch truck but if you're hungry and not ready to go home yet the option is thereWritten July 20, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - valleylilyEscondido, CA142 contributionsWe took a ghost tour in October. It was fascinating to learn about the dark history of the area and town. The museum has some interesting films and artifacts, and a new exhibit featuring the area of the upstate called the Dark Corner. Worth checking out. No onsite parking but there are many public lots nearby.Written October 13, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
