- Kristen F5 contributionsI’ve been doing tours and trips with CEX since I was in high school. There is no better outfitter in the area. There’s a seemingly endless amount of trips, tours, boat rides, kayaking trips, etc. The guides for every event are always extremely knowable. I can’t wait to watch this organization continue expanding down the coast, bringing their knowledge and professionalism to the community around them. Big fan. - hamlet_63017Pennsylvania17 contributionsChartered their 43 foot Beneteau "Mystique" for a custom 4 hour sail that was intended to provide us a "feel" for sailing the type of vessel we are considering. I made all of the arrangements with owner operator Dustin who was excellent and exceptionally accommodating. We sailed in conditions that were less than ideal for some. Winds blowing a constant 18-20 knots with the occasional 35-40 mph gusts. The boat handled beautifully as Captain Dustin guided me through maneuvers. We absolutely loved it. Captain Ashby's enthusiasm is contagious, and his knowledge unmatched. Hugh (the owner) is awesome! Very easy to work with to set up private events! He makes sure participants understand the safety and mechanics behind climbing at the facility before going out and having a blast!
We had a group under 15 people so it was a quaint experience. The facility can accommodate much larger groups. Hugh had music playing and there were several picnic tables near the climbing area to rest or for spectators who were not climbing. There is a stand alone building where you sign in, get a helmet, gear, drink, etc. it also has restrooms.
Our group had a great time and will likely return again in the future. Upon leaving I learned about upcoming opportunities for laser tag there as well. - Compass362445116171 contributionMy friend and I had a great fishing trip with Captain Geoff. He was very knowledgeable about the ocean and knew exactly where the fish were. Not only did he know where to find them, but he also knew how to get them in the boat. We’d highly recommend this tour, take advantage of the late night time they offer.
