How many opportunities does one have to create an expensive bottle of perfume or cologne, have the chance to name it, and have it bottled and sold online? Answer, not too often, but thanks to Tijon, a French-Caribbean seller of exquisite and fine perfume, we did! We bought seats to sit in a perfume/cologne making class, and we had absolutely fantastic teachers! They went above and beyond to not only show us the process of making a $79.00 bottle of expensive perfume and cologne, but then allowed us the hands-on experience of making it ourselves. You choose everything from the base scent to the top notes scent. It's a lot more complex than one might think. They let us each try 3 times before we created just the right scent. My husband and I couldn't choose just one scent, so they let us each make 2 scents, for an additional cost; which our formulas are now recorded and for sale under custom scents on the Tijon website that we can search out ourselves. How cool is that! The cherry on top was that my husband named one of his cologne's after me. How sweet is that! I loved it and I love him. This is a fun date activity with your significant other, or with buddies. A special thanks to our top-rated perfume making teacher, Eliza and her lovely assistant Caroline! You made our Tijon experience something that we will always remember. The perfume/cologne making that is now for sale under custom perfumes on your site is neat, but it was the family bonding time and experience that made this activity so fantastic. She took extra time and care to create the perfect template and curriculum (her first watercolor class!) for our group which had a variety of artistic experience. Not to mention we had SO MUCH FUN!
