This is such a unique gallery… several artists presented and some interactive experiences to enjoy. There’s a swing right in the gallery, a rock garden to touch and a piano to play… if you’re a player!! my favorite beside the wall art, is the sand table, the experience is meditative. We go every visit to Charleston!

Meyer Vogl Gallery is the best fine art gallery I’ve ever visited. The energy is wonderful and you instantly feel at ease when you walk through the doors. The art is as wonderful as the staff. They are kind and so helpful, whether it’s finding the perfect painting or sharing their favorite recs for lunch in town. 10/10 recommend a visit during your next trip to Charleston.

The Chalmers Street cobblestone area is a throwback to the 1800s when horse and carriages traveled on these rocky roads. Chalmers Street is in the French quarter and historic homes line the street.

Park at a meter on Calhoun and check out the Halsey, which is free to the public and has rotating exhibitions throughout the year If possible check out their opening nights (6:30-8:00) which are $5 for non-members with an open bar. Artists often provide a talk the next day. The student galleries are also fun to stroll through...you never know where talent will rise to the surface!

Popped in on our way up King Street. We went to a few excellent galleries but this was the pick. If it wasn’t for the expense and cost of shipping to the UK we would probably have made a purchase here.

Charleston has been a bit of a disappointment in some respects but the locals are lucky to have so many fine art galleries with so many high quality paintings and sculptures to chose from.

While walking through Charleston City Market we spotted a stand selling reprints that were slightly larger than postcard size. My wife likes to make collages so we decided to pick some up. Very reasonably priced. Nice selection of products.

    A beautiful clean cool gallery

    An artists coop gallery

As my usual, I was pulled into the jewelry. Many diverse rings, earrings, bracelets, and necklaces. I bought a gorgeous crazy lace agate ring.
I enjoyed browsing the sweet grass baskets, ceramics/pottery, scarves, accessories, wooden objects, and more.
The staff person was friendly and helpful.
Walking just a few minutes from the DASH bus made it convenient.

This was nearly hidden from us. It is full of impressive art that my camera can not even come close to sharing fully.

Easily our favorite gallery of the many we enjoyed in Charleston. Lovely offerings. We purchased two pieces that we are so happy with. The owner and her staff are hospitable, knowledgeable and made the whole experience a treat.

This gallery is on King Street. During the First Friday Art Walk many of the artists are in the gallery. The gallery has jewelry, sculpture as well as numerous pieces of art. There is an upstairs as well as a back patio type area with art. This is a wonderful gallery to visit.
