The ride was comfortable, even on a warm morning (suggest early tours during summer months), and the treatment of all the carriage horses was heartwarming and impressive.
The tours are a bit of a chance as there are 5 routes, and you can’t choose which one you take, but it is determined by the draw of a ping pong ball.

The carriage ride was definitely the highlight of our visit to Charleston! Having only one day to explore the City, we decided to choose one of the many tours available.
My daughter and I loved our carriage tour of Charleston by Charleston's Carriage Tours!

Our guide, Dana, was very personal and highly informative about the buildings, the history, and the city regulations of the carriage tours.
He gave us an insider view of modern peninsula life, including the real estate market, gardening, historical preservation, and the unfortunate debate of the future of the carriage tours in Charleston.

We have done other food tours throughout the U.S. and the amount of food served on this tour was plentiful, flavorful, and local favorites.
I highly recommend this activity and would personally do one of their other tours in the future.

Linda's tour is informative, with some subtle humor-none of the kitschy, over-done humor usually found on tours.
She's loves walking tours and is a good measurement of how good the tour is.

We have been to Charleston twice, and both times taken Gray line tours.
The Gray line was a wonderful, comfortable way to tour Charleston and we highly recommend it to anyone.

Our tour guide, Adam, was very knowledgeable and lived nearby on one of the islands so he was able to give us great details to his stories.
Our tour guide was very informative, and we learned some completely different Charleston facts than we learned on our daytime historical walking tour.

We had a great time and would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who hasn't ever taken a walking tour around Charleston. Carriage tours are offered but you miss some of the interesting alley ways and details...
Highly giggle recommend taking time to learn about this beautiful city from one of these tours.

I have been on ghost tours for the last 20 years (e.g., Key West, St. Augustine, Savannah, San Antonio, St. Orleans) -- but the Charleston tour with Ghosts of Charleston was one of the best!
