The carriage ride was excellent. Ashley, our driver did an outstanding job in her description of the historic sights of Old Charleston but Ben, the horse won the best of the best.

Fantastic to be right down in it ! Hear about the history & Experience the water ! Staff was wonderful. The views were fantastic. It was a fantastic day. I got some sun on my shoulders. Lots of great pictures and didn’t have to deal with all the traffic. It will do again when we bring more friends and family!!!

Great tour with Jimmy, learned a lot about Charleston and its history. Keeping to the shade on a hot day was an added bonus.

A really cool experience! It’s amazing that it’s still standing after all of these years and the absolute onslaught it endured. History is amazing and being able to be a part of it is wild! I definitely recommend taking this tour.

Managed to get on the earlier tour as there was space & it hadn't taken us as long to get to the joining point as anticipated. Lovely driver. Stopped the bus & gave explanations as we went around, very informative & not rushed.
At no time did we get off the bus, as when booked I understood it to be bus ride & walking! He never offered photo stops off the bus & no one seemed to ask. Would have liked a better view of the harbour which was hidden by the wall from the bus- I could of asked I suppose. Overall a safe & comfortable trip to see the main sights & get a good understanding of the city, ready to visit again & know where to wander. When we only had a morning to view the city, it was perfect. Pick up/drop off area a good location, easy to find & clean toilets.

What a fun tour! Our guide, Brandon, was a great story-teller and historian. Just the right length and covered so much territory.

Give yourself at least 3 hours to have adequate time to see everything this plantation has to offer. The history of the home and it’s inhabitants was interesting. This is still a working farm with crops being harvested all year long.

Great tour and Tour Guide (Smitty)! Very informative about the history of Charleston, great restaurant suggestion, as well as info on what places to visit. Great way to begin your stay if you have never been to Charleston to help with what is worthwhile seeing and not waste anytime time. It was well worth the price.

Very factual and entertaining guide/driver. Great up close and easy way to see Charleston. We got details about top sights as well as off the beaten path history along with some haunted tails (with historical monuments).
