What travelers are saying

  • We took a Lyft out here on a rainy day. 20 minutes drive from the Charleston historic district. Lots of fun things to see. Reasonably priced. Nice selection of silver. Ladies at desk are very helpful. Highly recommend.

Nice and well displayed mix of antiques. Owner John was very helpful and pleasant in arranging shipment of footstool and coffee table to California. Highly recommended.

A nice variety of antiques & collectibles are offered here, It's not a big shop, but every space is filled and yard/garden items are outside. I usually find something in here I want. Employees are friendly and will work with you on prices.

This store is crowed with works of furniture odd pictures, grandfather clocks and chandeliers. There is much more to see and true antiques and some unusual will like this shop that is crowded with items. The owner may not be the most friendly but I just found him interested to know what to show you. Especially that there is much more in is work or storage room. If your looking to see real beautiful items and not tourist junk you will enjoy the visit.

Antiques Market had been around for years. I stopped by every time I was in the area. On my visit in July, I was surprised to find out that Antiques Market was permanently closed. It was a nice antique shop!

One of the most unexpected finds in Charleston, close to the visitor center in the heart of town.
The Record Stop is simply vinyl heaven - wall to wall LPs, well-batched in categories, and with knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff happy to chat about that Beach Boys gig you missed in 1975 when the dog was ill, or the fact that your mum saw the Beatles live.
It's a fabulous nostalgia fest; well worth an hour's detour.
And it's on the main drag, at the more bohemian end of King Street.

This was a very interesting stop. I saw the beautiful paintings through the window and was determined to get inside to see the artwork. I was able to convince the grumpy old man to let me in but I heard him turn away quite a few other people while I was looking around. The store is so beautiful on the inside I would suggest to try and see if you can get in but don’t be too surprised or offended if the man turns you away.
