We love anchoring, and swimming off the boat, or just relaxing after a day on the water, The land side of the park is gorgeous, with walking/running trails, playing fields, picnic areas, etc.
Goddard Park is a popular location for joggers, horse back riders, company picnics, reunions, etc. Camp site style grills and large lawns in between.

There are a lot of marinas on the east side of the neck, and there are great sunsets over City Park on the west side of the neck.
