- donaldrehnerFreeport, PA35 contributionsWent with daughter, son in law, granddaughter and friend. All had a good time. Clean, friendly stadium. No bad seats. Food was not outstanding but reasonable. Admission and parking is reasonable. Also Revolution won.Written September 24, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- shacketjbaltimore, md17 contributionsHave been going here for years, and look forward to doing it again this year. Requires good planning now that you must book tickets in advance, but well worth it.Written March 8, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Thomas - Genevi... HHigham, Suffolk, UK950 contributionsLocated not too far south of York, this is worth the drive! The milkshakes and ice cream are amazing. The small farm store has a plethora of fresh baked goods, sandwiches, milk (of course), juices, and sweets.
All of the staff were so nice and helpful. The site also has two port-a-loo toilets located adjacent to the car park.Written June 10, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - chuckandpamvRed Lion, PA66 contributionsJust a great time with my grandson showing him all the animals in the display. The walk on the trails during fall is beautiful!Written October 22, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Beckyd36 contributionsI have lost track of the number of times my husband and I have biked this trail over the past two years. We will pick a parking area in the middle and ride either South through New Freedom to the MD line (New Freedom is the highest point on the trail) or North to York. Lots of benches and picnic tables along the way. Our favorite place to lunch is in the County Park next to the Brillhart Station parking lot. There is an active railroad track along the trail as the Northern Central Railroad is active as an excursion. Pretty cool if you can time being at Hanover Junction when the steam train comes in. The oldest continuous use railroad tunnel in the US is at about the 15 mile marker. There is a small antique store along the trail in Seven Valleys. If you ride to New Freedom there is a small museum that gives a nice history of the area. My husband and I have an affection for steam railroads so this trail suits us to a tee.Written October 30, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Mark GCatonsville, MD2,572 contributionsBuilt in 1888 and taking up nearly an entire block, this National Historic Register property was a joy to visit and regret it has been many, many years since our last visit. The York Central market has over 50 vendors and is open Tues, Thurs, and Sat and 1st Friday's. We were in for breakfast while passing thru on a trip farther north and came across Mezzogiorno's and their fantastic French toast and sausages for only $6.95. The architecture is a marvel with so many unique features and there are food stalls with many breakfast and lunch options, sweets of all kinds, produce, meats, crafts and shops throughout.. There is also the Mudhook Brewing Company with extended hours. Look forward to a return visit. There was plenty of street parking and a parking garage across the street.Written June 7, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Chris WMaryland66 contributionsWe visited the history museum and the agricultural museum. Wish we had time to visit the fire and historical buildings as well as they are covered under one cost. Bot volunteers at the two museums were very friendly and helpful.Written October 10, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- fromphillytodcWashington DC, DC11 contributionsThe primary trail wasn't super long so it can be done with small children. We did see a few deer along the walk which made it fun for my daughter. There is also a rock section and a small playground. A great way to spend a sunny morning.Written September 6, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- GrandTour36034643777York, PA5 contributionsThe variety of shows offered by the Appell Center appeals to folks of all ages. We would definitely visit again.Written October 9, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- alexwolf2016Green Cove Springs, Florida346 contributionsPretty good for a suburban park, and good-sized. It has a dirt bicycle track, dog runs, a well marked 5K running course, some short trails and is large enough for an exercise walk. It’s well maintained. It’s also the trailhead for a five-mile greenway. A hundred years from now, when the area is totally urbanized, this place will be a gem.Written August 25, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Prawet JWashington DC, DC13,366 contributionsI have been to York a couple times but never really have a chance to explore the historic area other than stop to eat and to take a few photos. If you do not have much time and want to visit historic area, from I-83 take E. Market St. Exit and head to downtown. The historic area of town is at the heart of the commercial and business district (around Market and George Streets area). There are a lot of old buildings with history and a lot of places to shop and to eat and to drinks. This is a lovely town that revive the town into a live city rather than a tourist attraction alone. Good place to visit and is less than half hour drive to Harrisburg.Written October 29, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
