- ScottMoreheadNorfolk, VA54 contributionsWe just traveled in time back to the 1800's to enjoy a traditional Christmas. This farm has been in existence since the 1700's and is a must see when you come to the Poconos. All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable.Written December 12, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Tourist564788Bernville, PA28 contributionsStopped in to Banter after having the cider at another local restaurant. We tried a flight and everything tasted was good and actually bought some to take home. The owners wife was very friendly telling us about the ciders and the business. We will definitely return next time we are in town and recommend to anyone visiting the area.Written April 25, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- babs12858Palmerton, PA581 contributionsWe went here today with another couple. Due to the bog's fragile nature, the boardwalk trail is only open for guided tours. Our tour guide was Matt and he was very professional, courteous, and informative. The cost was only $6. pp and well worth it. The hike through the bog took about 1 1/2 hours and was about a mile long. We walked on a floating boardwalk and saw many different kinds of trees, flowers (including a bug eating flower), and plants. We learned so much about wetlands and their usefulness. This natural National landmark is well worth your time to go see.Written September 4, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- nini91716New York City, NY136 contributionsMy husband & I decided to stop by on a Sunday afternoon after I read some reviews plus it was really close to our hotel. Upon arrival the place was completely empty ( it was 4pm they close at 5pm on Sunday’s plus it was a gloomy day) however, we were greeted by Amanda who was really nice/ sweet & knowledgeable about the wines, sangria & cider. We did the sampler tasting for 8 drinks & you get to keep the glass of wine. We ended up purchasing a bottle of wine & a 64 oz growler of sangria which is so GOOD. Amanda informed us that they are currently in the process of renovating the place & it should be completed by the time the sangria fair comes around. I would recommend this place if your in the area & want to taste delicious PA drinks :)Written March 10, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- NUTN2000Staten Island, New York487 contributionsWe were in the area and needed supplies for a weekend vacation.
They had everything we needed for our weekend meals.
Pork, beef, baked goods, veggies, etc.
We picked up some nice items.
A bit pricey for a local farmers market but vg quality.Written September 12, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - mikemughettoVerona, NJ39 contributionsJust spent a fantastic day at Eagles Rest. The proprietor (Royce) is an Air Force vet and just a super nice guy. Very gracious, generous and accommodating. He shared his entirety property with us and everything exceeded expectations - the wine, the grounds and the hospitality. They even had live music. Just a great casual place to spend an afternoon! Definitely will return.Written August 30, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Michael WEdison, NJ782 contributionsWe stopped in to get some area information as we hadn't been in the Poconos in years.
The attendant was helpful and friendly with dining and shopping recommendations and generally things to do..Written May 26, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Tripnoot6 contributionsThere's too many whiners in the reviews wanting everything perfectly tailored to them. There's handfuls of stores here, a variety of them as well as places to eat. It's nothing to drive 50 miles out of your way for, but it's a perfectly fine mall for the area.Written October 1, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
