What travelers are saying
- John W1 contributionThis theater is a gem. It shows cutting edge films timely, and many significant films with extraordinary cinematic value. This daring “art house” approach to films rivals theatres in major cities. The venue itself is gorgeous, and Bucknell University has restored its extraordinary art-deco interior. Just go. You will love it.Written April 2, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Cherry_WonderdogNew England4,981 contributionsFor anyone seeking a studious college atmosphere in a beautiful setting in the area around Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, it’s hard to do better than Bucknell University. We rode our bikes here from downtown Lewisburg up a few major hills to get to campus, and from there we had a gorgeous view of the countryside while surrounded by young students aimed at furthering their education and absorbing knowledge into their maturing brains. In this era of COVID spread, we also came across a few classes being held outside. Cherry Wonderdog only wishes there were other canines roaming the quad with whom to frolic in the grass.Written September 9, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Natty Park TravelerAltoona, PA323 contributionsThis was billed as an antique shop location, but we found it to be more crafty than antique. Don’t know that we would visit again since we are antiquers. But, if you are a crafty type of person, this would be right up your alley. Lots of great craft items. There are some antiques, but not really worth the visit. More flea market and craft than antique.Written July 5, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- JoshuaBrockMontoursville, PA241 contributionsWe were headed to Lewisburg for dinner downtown and wanted something to do beforehand. I am more of a craft brewery guy, but my wife enjoys wines and ciders more and she saw Vero's listing here. Headed over...very nice location. Tasting room is right in front of the vineyard. If you're a lover of agriculture as I am as a hop Farmer, making the connection with how the crops are grown and cared for is really important. You can easily see they care they take in their vines.
Wine flight suggestion by the staff was awesome! And then we each had a glass of one of the wines from the flight. Staff are very knowledgeable, extremely friendly, and very helpful. We really, really enjoyed our time and will be back with family and friends!Written July 29, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Love all the pies, Apple-Rhubarb got to be my favorite. Our 2nd trip here was planned to attend the Wednesday event. Absolutely love it. Must stop and see it.Written September 27, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- MonicaMK590Hershey, PA3 contributionsMy husband and I planned an overnight trip to Lewisburg to bike ride the Buffalo Trail but a rainy forecast ended that idea. I searched Tripadvisor for other things to do and was totally surprised to find a cold plunge experience at One Health and Wellness. I called and spoke to Ben, the owner, who was a wealth of information, and booked the Fire and Ice experience - breathing work, cold plunge and infrared sauna.
The experience was incredible, learning how our bodies react and respond to stress and how we can use our minds to cope with it. I felt a feeling of accomplishment stepping into 43 degree water and breathing through the initial shock and then being able to breathe through it to attain a comfortable state. The feeling of invigoration stepping out after several minutes and the relaxation of the infrared sauna was awesome.
We will definitely go back and take a mace strength training class and repeat the Fire and Ice.Written May 5, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
