- Steve_Lincs1Lincoln, UK1,877 contributionsThis beach has everything. Large park car parks in the town along with numerous eateries and shops as well as public facilities including showers. The beach itself is title always leaving an area of sand however the sea washes the rest of the beach beautifully clean twice a day.
There is surf hire available on the beach as well as rock pools and caves to explore with the remnants of old tin mining infrastructure visible within the cliffs. The waves make for brilliant surfing and body boarding.
The beach itself is over a mile long and at the end of this is access to the Haven caravan site and old mining works which are interesting to look at. This beach is perfect for a family beach day as it has everything you could possibly need. There is also chapel rock which has a small title pool within it.Written December 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Apart from the beautiful views you will also see a number of mines and pass by the edge of the airfield.Written November 29, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - erica sBrixham11 contributionsOne of the best riding stables I have ever come across. Stunning and well cared for horses and ponies and amazing, helpful , caring and enthusiastic staff. I had the most treasured ride on the Beach on beautiful Dougie (we were so well matched) and can’t wait to return when I am in the area againWritten November 11, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - LittleWilsBishops Stortford, UK13 contributionsWe stayed in a rented caravan for one week with 2 dogs. The caravan was “bronze” and was clean and comfortable. There are no facilities on the camp, but that didn’t make a difference to us as there are plenty of shops in the town, including a Co-Op to get all we needed. The caravan park is within a 15/20 minute walk and downhill. The park is clean and well kept. It was lovely and quiet, and this suited us perfectly. In all, the caravan park suited us just fine.Written June 28, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

We had such an amazing time, the instructor was very patient and encouraging, husband really enjoyed the experience and was very good but I was rubbish and very nervous so the instructor took me around the track as a passenger, both instructors had great banter and the hovercraft owner was always checking we were ok and enjoying our experience.
We would definitely recommend 😁Written September 20, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
