I am revising a previous review upward. Parx could get a 5-star review, except for my experience that the slots, especially poker machines, rarely pay anything substantial. However, we go as a couple and my wife has had some decent luck, which was a turnaround after several visits.
On the plus side, the staff is excellent, polite and professional. The place is clean and well-lit. And the sports betting venue is first-class, like a small movie theater.
Again, though, a shame the slots aren't better.

Share the story of this American saint. The Mission Center grounds are beautiful. The chapel is made of splendid wood. Learn the history and marvel at the achievements of this member of the famed Drexel family. Meditate, relax and take in the beauty. It is a place for all to visit and enjoy.

The outdoor seasonal venue with a capacity of 3000 still looks remarkable, a testament to the mayor and the venues stakeholders. Since 2002, this gem has become a unique destination for local families to create wonderful experiences and memories. Unfortunately their entire 2020 summer slate of programs were cancelled as a result of COVID. Hopefully next summer this plague will be history and open air theatre will be rocking once again!

This park has ample parking areas. There are numerous picnic benches well shaded by trees. There is pool open to public for a fee during the summer months. There are trails for all levels of folks looking to get out there.

Main walking trails are paved with asphalt. There are also trails wide enough to accommodate the Ranger's SUV which does patrol regularly. From those trails, smaller paths through wooded areas and open fields cross like a spider web. Mountain bike paths vary from the rocky wooded area through sandy beach-like terrain. I've never seen an unhappy dog there!

I have no idea what another reviewer was talking about with the marina -- there isn't one. The main park has an area at the waterfront - not for swimming. There is a separate section that is technically part of the park that has a public boat launch. The "marina" is a private club and should not reflect on the Park as they have no control or jurisdiction. The boat launch area has no public restrooms or even port-a-john.

There are three separate buildings with public restrooms in the main park. I've never gone inside so I can't comment on the cleanliness. There is a playground for little ones. During warm weather, people bring out remote controlled airplanes to fly in the fields. If you have a remote control vehicle you want to try in various terrain - this is a great place to find everything from asphalt to dirt to brick path to sand dunes.

There are enough little side paths that will lead back to main trails for someone to enjoy a different route every time. By someone, I mean my dog who hates routine. I enjoy that the park isn't really big enough to get lost and everything circles back to the parking area eventually.

Neshaminy Mall has a movie theater, food court, and many popular clothing stores, jewelry stores, etc. Sorry, but Macy's is no longer there. Also nearby, there are a lot of restaurants, my favorite being Cracker Barrell. It is easily accessible by public transportation. There is also plenty of parking.

First log onto the Mansion's website and purchase your tickets. We drove to the Mansion before the posted tour time and thought we could just buy tickets there but we could not. The Mansion is beautiful and our tour was very good. We chose the option for the garden tour as well. We were provided with a map to check out the grounds. The history of the residents during the time they lived there was very interesting.

Maddey in beer garden was great then we had a disappointing wait to get into venue due to cell phone packaging. MISSED OPENING ACT. Chris Tucker was great but will consider what to do about next visit. Venue price is fair drink and food prices high but it was expected and a rear treat to ourselves. Sound was good seats a little tight if you are next to a large frame.

We took a trip from Michigan to Atlantic City traveling through Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland and Indiana taking different routes going out and coming back. The plan was to hit 31 casino's in 5 days. The thing is, once inside they all pretty much look the same. Same slots, same amenities. We stop to play for an hour or so and what determines how long we stay and how we rate a casino is if there is anything spectacular or different about it and whether the slots are really tight or we can at least play for a while on our money without losing it all within 10 minutes. I rate this as average based on all the other casinos we visited. Same basic slots as everywhere else, not tight but not loose either. I'd stop again but probably wouldn't stay for more than an hour. The goal was to hit the three Philadelphia casinos, Harrahs and Rivers casinos but trying to drive through the Philadelphia area was just terrible so we skipped the other two.
