Amazing. Staff were exceptionally friendly and kind and actually knew what they were doing. Attractions were a delight and everything functioned smoothly. I took my little brother there for some quality time together and we will remember it positively for a long time.

We visited this park a couple of times on a recent visit of family in the area. We enjoyed the disc golf course and some of the open green space on the first visit and then returned later with the entire family for a picnic at one of the shelters. Lots of open space, great features, and many athletic fields and walking trails. There is a lot to see and do at this location.

Great 2-3 miles hiking, jogging or walking in nature: Family-friendly! Lots of beautiful wild flowers in all seasons. there's a beautiful small wood with 1-mile trail loop that is a welcome respite for hot days.

There's a water feature at Town Center Park that is fun for kids in the summer heat. It is not deep and it is chlorinated for health reasons. There's also plenty of grass for sitting around as the kids are in the water.

We were part of a large group of people who gathered at the Vanguard for a surprise birthday party. The staff and ownership helped to put on a well organized event and handled the large volume of orders at the bar and from the small menu the Vanguard serves. Their beers are well made and the selections of wine are quite adequate. The outdoor seating area in the warmer months is very well liked.

We had so much fun here! Between the bowling and Oregon lottery machines it was a good night out for us. The drinks were great the pizza we ordered tasted good and the people were very nice.

Very lovely small lavender farm and a wonderful gift shop. A variety of lavender items, from teas, cookies, sachets, soaps, wands, plants and gorgeous bunches of lavender for sale. This was a very sweet farm to visit. The field of lavender was amazing

Executive course with 3 different 9 hole courses. Although we normally don't play many Executive courses for the price it's hard to walkaway. $22 during the week and $24 on weekends. Lots of trees line each hole. A mixture of long par 3's and short par 4's. Course and greens were in nice shape.

I absolutely love this store! I've rarely encountered this level of excellent service in any type of store. Everyone here is genuinely happy to help you and will go out of their way to accommodate schedules, abilities, etc for classes. Norma is fantastic and the kids have learned so much from here. I look forward to taking a class for myself!! They have a large stock of great fabrics and will order something for you if needed.

Located in a very nice residential area. We sat upstairs in the dining room with a view of the golf course. Friendly, knowledgable staff. We had an order of lollipop lamb chops & Brussel sprout appetizers. Very good, total $17. 5 flights of Oregon wine tasting, $10. Quality wine selection.

    Hi gang,
I enjoy playing the smaller, lesser-known 9 hole courses, too. I found Kohl Creek (formerly Sandalie 9) and played it. Operated by a nice family as mentioned by a previous reviewer, I paid $14 to walk. They are asking $15 for a power cart. I feel $10 is more reasonable cart fee for that course and I’ll bet they’d get more rentals for it. I woulda paid $10 for a cart.
The course is what I refer to as a “valley course”, flat, open and an easy walk. Fairways are wide and holes are lengthy. Biggest problem I had was when a ball trickled along the tree line and shadowed by trees, you lose a ball in a hurry. I think they ought to cut back at least 10 feet under the trees so the ball can be played.
It appears that upkeep on such wide, long fairways is a bit overwhelming for the maint staff I saw. #1 tee box is long but very narrow. By the time you tee your ball and take a stance, you’ve got an uphill stance. One tee box at far end of course was closed, unmowed and tee blocks put in the fairway. ???
It’s a good course to walk, very friendly staff, hopefully with greater revenue coming in the course will “blossom”. Come out and play !!!
