I was in Portland for training, and had a free night so walked around this area of town. It's not too far from Powell's books, where I had been earlier. It's close to Trimet train line. As far as "safety" of neighborhood, I'd say average for downtown Portland.

I wanted to stop here as I'd been quite the arcade bum way back when, and welcomed the chance to play my favorite game (Donkey Kong) on an original console.

I dropped by around 7:00 PM, my ID was checked at the door as they are 21 and over after 5PM. There are some small lockers where you can stash things before you go in. There is also a machine to buy your payment card. I missed this coming in so had to backtrack when I saw the machines didn't take quarters. I got 600 points for $20, and most games were 10 to 20 points so works out to less than a buck a play, which isn't too bad considering last time I hung around arcades it was a quarter per!

I was so disappointed to see Donkey Kong with an "out of order" sign on it but after exploring a bit, found another working console. Also found Donkey Kong Jr! Well my skills were rusty so never got beyond the first elevator level but man was it fun. Tried out a few other classic games, some driving games, DDR Extreme, and several pinball games. When I left 90 minutes later I still had 200 points on my card.

I did not partake of the bar as I struggled enough without being buzzed! I was there on a Wednesday night, it was not very busy, and I was always able to walk right up to a game.

Weekends might be different, but all I can say is I had a blast.

Entering the iFLY lobby we were met by a friendly guy at the counter. From there it only got better. We were greeted warmly by everyone and that helped make the "flying" experience even better than I thought it could be.
We were shown a safety video, given flight suits and helmets, and all questions we're answered. Then Chad stepped into the "wind tunnel" and off I went after him.
There was never a moment of feeling unsafe or out of control. Chad was GREAT! So patient and calming, always smiling and helpful.
The BEST feeling was when I first stepped to the door to go into the "wind tunnel" and leaned forward...and didn't fall. Just. Too. Cool!
We're going again as soon as we can.

Celebrating a birthday with a group of friends, we wondered what kind of experience we would have at 60 Minutes to Escape. We were all new to escape rooms, and we ended up being paired with another group of novices. From the fun, relaxed host to the interesting scenario and the intriguing set, we were favorably impressed. Everyone contributed and the suspense mounted as the minutes dwindled. We solved the puzzles and completed our mission just in time. I highly recommend this event!

Been here many times and it only gets better. Drinks are cheap, games function well, food is pretty decent and the nostalgia factor is just perfect.

A great thing to do to relieve stress. The staff was great, food was awesome and most especially I enjoyed the axe throwing activity. At first, it was a bit scary but no, it's safe and fun!

Although Purrrington's is a little on the small side, the cats are very fun and lovable. The staff was nice and the coffee was good too. If you're in Portland and looking for a way to spend some down time definitely check out the cat café. All of the cats are up for adoptions, so if you fall in love you can take one of these sweet babies home with you!

I took my 11 and 13 year old to wait out traffic after OMSI thinking they would like it and I would do nature VR. I found myself, an almost 40 year old mom, jumping and ducking, running side to side trying to dodge axes from orcs and lasers from space robots! We all had so much fun. We can't wait to go back.

Went here after dinner for a while to play ping pong with friends.
It is a unique place and a lot of fun.
They have a bar which makes it even more interesting after a few drinks.

We had some time in the late afternoon before dinner so we went in. You can make reservations and I’m sure it gets crowded on the weekends. We played mini golf. It was a very easy course and didn’t take very long. It was lit up neon, which was its main Design. We also did an escape room. The escape room was fun. We were a group of six in the escape room and it is more designed for a smaller group. You worked on each puzzle together and it was hard to do that with six people. The guide was very helpful and we were able to escape. It’s a great place Just spend a few hours.

We decided since it was supposed to rain to pick an indoor activity that our 12 & 16 year old boys could go "play". We decided to make an afternoon of it. We bought movie tickets, 3D Max tickets and then purchased $2 in nickels for each family member. We printed off the coupon for buy 1, get 1 on the entrance fee. The facility is rather old, but for an affordable afternoon out of the rain it was well worth it.

Heads up the play structures are plentiful..Pizza is small ..I prepaid non refundable what I thought was $10 kid for 12 for pizza, drink ice cream, and all day playtime..BEWARE the $120 non refundable is room only and you will be paying addl $150 for 10 kids to play. They were not even ready No room decor. Poor service Had to go ask for our drinks after one pizza gone. Never got ice cream No hostess and definitely UNORGANIZED for $300 the worst party I have ever thrown and we..all of us will never do any party there again. 10 kids get 12 slices cheese 1 pitcher fluid and playtime. I would have rather been out in the open with our party of 9 kids and paid the entrance fee and bought our pizza. Just want others aware When it say addl 15 per child on parties and you think it means over 12 kids I dont understand why they are not honest and charge you 25$ a kid to start..What a rip off.

Absolute great time. Came here with some friends for our vacation. We were here opening night and came back a couple is days later. The whole team was friendly, knowledgeable, and super accommodating. Dan, Chris, and the whole crew were great. For a location that just opened they really had things locked in. Definitely a spot we would come back to.

This place has 2 lead-only walls (one of which is a fun pumpy overhang), TR set up everywhere, off-width cracks, finger crack, adjustable cracks, 2nd floor is all bouldering including a long ramp, mushroom wall systems wall, probably 40m long overhanging 'wave' wall and some other walls. Gym features: 2 studios, workout area with decent equipment and workout bikes, treadmills and elliptical throughout the facility.

This place gets a lot of unwarranted heat from some climbers because it's not full of old gymnastic mats, particleboard and was clearly built with a lot of money. It really is the Cadillac of climbing gyms, but is packed. Come at 6pm and unless you're planing on tackling an overhanging lead problem you'll be waiting.

Great options for classes ranging from crack-clinics to TRX to yoga. A really good place for kids.

I wouldn't say the ratings are sandbagged as much as the really fluctuate from setter to setter and over time as well; however, Oregon crags are full of old 5.9s (like before there were 5.teens everywhere ol'school) so in this persons opinion saying it's sand-bagged or not really just indicates where you climb or if you climb outside.

We had a lot of fun (and got a bit of a workout)! The staff were knowledgeable and helpful, but didn't hover. Great vibes. The target is projected onto the wood blocks, so that makes for less exciting bullseye pictures. Alcohol is available.
