- Evan EPhiladelphia247 contributionsI really love the Everett House. This is a simple and laid back way to get out of the cold in Portland and step into some peace and serenity. The property has cold plunges, hot pool, showers, sauna, steam room, and so much more. I was lucky enough to hang out in the cafe at the back of the property, I've been coming for years and had never actually gone in the cafe before. I highly reccomend the Everett House, no reservations needed, the first come first service aspect helps make this a last minute splurge for your personal health and wellness!Written October 13, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - cmhaslerWoodland, CA1 contributionAs a triathlete, I’ve been getting massages regularly for 30 years. My massage with Iqbal was THE BEST I have ever had!!! - Coltin A1 contributionWhat a beautiful facility. I came in for a couples massage and spa session with my wife. We enjoyed the hot pool, and eucalyptus steam room for an hour before our couples massage. The providers were so professional and gave us the best massage ever. We will definitely be back and recommend to all of our friends and family. Try this place, you will not regret it!Written November 12, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- natchristopherPortland, OR46 contributionsThe Dragontree Spa is a cozy, quite, incredibly nourishing spa experience in location in one of the most beautiful parts of Portland right next to the forest yet walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. I went there feeling really run down from a hectic work week and the staff there was amazing.
First off I scheduled a massage and the Therapist who was supposed to treat me that day was injured. The staff was super helpful and getting me rescheduled AND gave me a free foot bath and chocolates while I waited for another therapist to be available. THANKS ROBERT (and sangha staff)
THEN, I had one of the best massages I have ever had (I have had many) from Jolene Wilson. Her touch was amazing, her manner was super relaxed and extremely professional, Usually when I receive a 60 minute massage I am disappointed that we didn't quite get to all the things and somehow Joline was able to give me a complete experience AND make me feel like I was still getting bonus time at the end. Not sure how she managed to fit everything in but i am inspired.
Anyway, It's been a rough start to the year and my experience at The Dragontree felt like it moved me back on track in the right direction.

Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Vivian MDundonald, UK8 contributionsAs a float centre owner from Northern Ireland I was in Portland for the annual global float conference.
Since the 'float on boys' have hosted this conference for the last 7 years I had to stop by for a float, I was not disappointed.
I was welcomed by Corry then introduced to float room 4.
Totally eliminated my jetlag and ensured my time in Portland was as chilled out as could possibly be :)

You relax just walking in the door. My son and I had hennas done, so wish we had the time for some of the other services offered. Everyone is very friendly. We brought a picture of the henna design we wanted and they were able to duplicate it perfectly. - JBruggs3Seattle, WA3 contributionsThis place is awesome. Went here with my husband for my birthday, and had a float and a massage (145$ total). The staff was super friendly, the float tank clean and perfect. I fell asleep twice. It was transcendental.Written March 5, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Allison L1 contributionThis place left me a warm puddle. Highly recommend the foot soak/face mask add on to your sauna, and book a massage with Rebecca. - SaraSMadison, IN120 contributionsThis was so wonderful to find. I was searching for a massage with less than 24 hours notice. I got a 60 min traditional from Megan. Great service! She asked my issue areas and did a perfect job working on my chronic pain.Written July 30, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AnnaFranciscoOttawa, Canada49 contributionsMy partner wanted to try something different on her birthday. We had spent nearly a month in Portland and we sadly put off going to Common Ground. It is everything the website claims : open, friendly, professional, inclusive and inexpensive. The relaxation is up to you. We imagine some people, like us, might find a clothing optional spa to be outside their comfort zone. We opted to remain clothed and we were the only prudes in swim suits. In retrospect, we could have made more of the friendly and safe atmosphere and join the other portlandians in their birthday suits. - EGrunwald49 contributionsThis is a nice place. Quaint and quiet in the heart of the Pearl District. Everyone was very polite, friendly and welcoming. I chose this place because of the great reviews on Trip Advisor. When I called, I had to leave a message and they returned my call promptly. Deep tissue massage was nice, not really deep though. Not the best I ever have had. Do I recommend Kanani? Absolutely! But try other places too.
Side note -parking in the immediate area is only 90 minute meters. I decided for her birthday last month I would treat her to a spa day while in Portland. We both had an ultimate relaxation experience with the Pepper Mint Me package. Our skin was softened with a salt scrub and steamed in their shower, then a rejuvenating facial. After all of that a wonderful aromatherapy massage to clear all that travel stress away. Lastly, they made our toes look beautiful and oh so soft for the rest of our vacation. All of the staff we interacted with were more than friendly. I felt so at home and relaxed in their beautiful spa. This is a great place to spend an afternoon at pampering yourself, because YOU DESERVE IT! Can't wait to be back in Portland to treat myself again!Written November 11, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - r0bertj0nesGlendo, WY6 contributionsAmazing salon! Came in close to closing the day before my wedding and Truc did a wonderful job on my shellac manicure. We had a lovely chat about my wedding and her wedding many years ago. At the end of my visit, she gifted me a lotion as a wedding gift. While I don't live in Portland, I would go to the salon again on my next visit. - bouncebackmomPoughkeepsie, NY768 contributionsStaying at The River’s Edge Hotel & Spa which has a huge Spa and fitness center. So I reserved a much-needed manicure and pedicure for these well-traveled feet.
I arrived early on a Sunday to make it a relaxing day.
While waiting, caught up on NON business reading, indulging in browsing magazines aplenty while dining on “room delivery” of the very best oatmeal I’ve ever eaten in a hotel: perfect consistency with an abundance of freshly-stewed fruits. Decadent but healthy.
The tea station is brimming with round the clock options, all complimentary to spa guests. After my manicure and pedicure, ( natural style, no gels or acrylics here), I headed over to the steam and sauna, enjoying a refreshing shower. I highly recommend securing an early appointment and spending a few hours. Grab a girlfriend or significant other. There are several quiet areas to enjoy private conversation. DON’T leave without taking a meal at the hotel’s riverside restaurant. ( Better yet, take a room. Ask for the river side). A really great place to “STAYcation). Look at these views.
