- Jean Marie M1 contributionMy husband and I did the Big Bold Reds barrel tasting and it was phenomenal .. Jeff was so knowledgeable and the wine was exceptional!Written September 14, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Patrice G1 contributionWe had so such a wonderful wine tasting experience. Dave is so fun and knowledgable. I especially liked how he pairs his wines with music and talks about the texture and flow of his wine in your mouth as you are tasting. The tasting was set up for just our two couples and was so exquisite and personable. Both couples joined the club after tasting the Bells Up wonderful wines.Written July 12, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Gretchen C110 contributionsEverything about the winemakers' stories appealed to us, so we made an appointment last minute and drove in from McMinnville. What a beautiful cedar estate. Felt a bit like a Swiss Chalet with a Burgundy twist. Jacob was absolutely incredible. We've traveled to several other countries and visited wineries throughout the US and can say that Jacob Mitchell was one of the most congenial, interesting, knowledgeable hospitality associates we have had the pleasure of meeting. Sitting outside by the fire, surrounded by the 23 acres of vines and garden was sublime.Written October 4, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Gracie27Bowling Green, KY204 contributionsAlexana Winery was the first winery we stopped at during our visit and it was very nice. The building itself is beautiful and the wine tasting was lovely. It does have more of a corporate feel but for those really interested in the process and the winery itself, they provide a ton of valuable information. It was extremely hot so we were unable to sit outside but they didn't effect our lovely tasting and we even decided to join their wine club. They were not too pushy like some other places can be. Overall, we would highly recommend coming to visit this winery!Written July 11, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SanTanGolfeeMesa, AZ30 contributionsHands down the best wine tasting experience near Newberg/McMinnville! Pablo was so friendly, so knowledgeable, and took the time necessary to help us understand their wines.Written June 28, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Keith DRichardson, TX1,222 contributionsBeaux Frères is a nice, rustic throwback to an era when over the top tasting rooms didn’t exist. This one is an extension of the winery with lots of stools and benches and it’s nice to see the winery in full swing. Great wines and a nice morning.Written October 11, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- ljolsen12Southaven, MS82 contributionsRex Hill was amazing! Jeff greeted us with a smile and got our pouring started. The wines were very good, my favorite was the Chardonnay. I did buy a Pinot Noir to bring home. We had a lovely cheese tray with our tasting. It complimented the wines perfectly!
The scenery was so pretty and thankfully we could sit outside and enjoy the day.

The entire team was great, our event was meticulously planned and executed - Stephen was great to work with in planning wine, table location & other event logistics. Both Stephen and Brooke provided excellent on site service to our approx. 45 guests, who came from NY, FL, MD, CT, and KY. I can't thank them enough for how well they treated my family - from excellent wine selection, engaging conversation, taking photos, perfect room set up, etc. They provided a catering suggestion and worked seamlessly with Crave Catering; I can't thank everyone enough & was extremely happy with all aspects of our event.Written September 3, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - brmusicmanChicago, IL3,120 contributionsTasted on a Thursday morning. Lovely setting on the back deck, with a beautiful view of the gardens and the vineyards.
Tasting covered a lovely range of the wines, moving from light pinot noirs to some heftier ones. The woman who led our tasting was extraordinarily talkative and obviously proud of what the winery is producing; we enjoyed hearing more about each wine, from where the fruit for the wine was sourced, etc.
The wines are of high quality—some of our favorites in the area. We left with a few bottles! They also will ship wines, waiting until the weather supports shipping the wines without affecting their quality.

He patiently spent more than an hour answering our questions about wine production, his land, and his vines. This was a one of a kind glimpse into his business. He has owned Utopia for over twenty years and was a full-time worker in the industry long before that. Opinionated yet kind, his presentation was likely the highlight of our trip.

As an added, they have also started some spirits so we got to taste those also. We left with bottles on both wine and spirits!Written July 31, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
