We had a great time we got to meet Matt and Amy. They are very down-to-earth folks.
Neat setup, and a good half-day visit. Fair food prices and but some limited area for electric scooters. Glad we made it.

When we first pulled up, I thought, "what a waste." It just looked like a house with a small building to the side of it.

But, when we went in and paid, we walked into the side building I was amazed.

There were hundreds of beautiful specimens of rocks, minerals, and things of all kinds.

They even had a collection of gold specimens that was fun to see.

I've been to lots of mineral exhibits but the Rice family collected a beautiful collection, better than many large museums.

It is way out in the country. The museum used to be the home of the Rice family and then it was converted into a museum.

$10 for seniors, $12 for adults, $8 for students.

There are also things for the kids to do and try. The kids had fun.
There is a gift shop where you can buy small rocks and minerals that was also fun for the kids.

Definitely worth the drive and the cost.

Wife loves to go play Pokemon Go so we took the dogs and walked around the park for a couple hours. The park has miles of walking trails and several different playground structures. There are multiple picnic areas and trash cans for throwing away any garbage or doggy bags you might have.

Even on a cool, misty December day, it is refreshing to take a walk at Jackson Bottom. There will always be things to see, and you will feel that you are miles away from any city. The Visitor Center is exceptional and educational, too. What a gift we have here in Hillsboro!

One of our favorite places for many reasons - relaxing atmosphere, dog friendly, nice people - we had a family wedding there this summer and it was perfect. Not fancy, but as one person put it, more like sitting with friends on the front porch. Oh - and also good wine!

Very nice little market next to New Seasons. Great selection of vendors: Fruits and veggies, pastries, clay pots and cups, pies, mini-donuts and all kinds of sauces.

This review is only for the park and not for the aquatic center.

I enjoy coming here with my kids to play at the playground. Two areas, one for little kids and the other for bigger kids, are separated by a concrete strip with many benches. There’s a sand play area too. The playground is colored in green and brown so I like this natural feel blending in the natural background. There are many picnic tables and benches throughout the park. There are a few bathrooms though they are closed in winter.

This park has plenty of parking space which also for the library next to it. This library is super kids friendly! As you enter the building, there’s an open kids area with low shelves and kids size tables. There are many computers with headphones as well. The library put out a cute scavenger hunt for kids.

When you need to have your kids run around at a park and relax inside reading some books, I recommend this park and library in one location.

The park is located on the top of Chehalem Ridge and can be accessed from Rt. 219. They have picnic tables and walking paths. The park is not very large but it has this unbelievable view of the valley.

    Tualatin Valley winery -
Great low key winery. Excellent wines - very competitively priced. The setting is lovely. Food that is available is a nice selection & fairly priced.
