- Christina HNetarts, OR279 contributionsI was familiar with David Hill wines from many years ago and drive past the sign to the winery on a regular basis but had never visited. We took the time to go there on a Saturday afternoon with another couple and it was one of the most incredible experiences at a winery that I have had! It's very low key as far as the ambiance and the location. Unfortunately, the weather didn't permit us to sit outside, but I would love to go back on a nice summer day and enjoy the scenery. The wines were as wonderful as I remembered and we actually ended up joining their wine club.Written December 15, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - GaminglawFolsom, CA275 contributionsWe visited the Tualatin Estate on 6/21 during a recent trip to the PNW. Amazing to see the incredible vineyard planted by Bill Fuller and walk where the fabulous Hannah is derived. We were treated to music in the vineyard, seasonal flights, and a wonderful bottle of Vintage 48. Thank you to Efron, Annie, Rachel, Emma—and Lauren for such great customer service and hospitality! #Hannah #Fuller #Vintage48Written June 27, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Nina DMonterey, CA131 contributionsIf you have an RV and are part of Harvest Hosts, be sure to do an overnight stay at this site. I did not stay as a HH but we came to spend a few hours. We did the Sake Tasting and that was delicious and wonderful! Sat outside on their lovely deck and sampled some yummy sake. They also had a limited food menu but we did not partake. We also were fortunate to arrive in time to get a tour of the facility. Sorry, I cannot remember his name, but one of the employees gave us a very interesting and informative tour of the sake factor. It is quite a process to make sake! We ended up purchasing 3 bottles!!
I totally recommend a visit to SakeOne.Written October 10, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I would think the spring would be really pretty. We went in August because we were in town.Written August 29, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Brian RVienna, VA670 contributionsSmallish, but plenty of good produce, baked goods, and some crafts. A relaxed, fun atmosphere, including live music. Definitely worth stopping by if you are in the neighborhood on a Wednesday.Written August 11, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - nhitedevoreKailua-Kona, HI17 contributionsWe have gone for several years. You have to go with a plan. Go early and have someone go in the sausage to go line and someone go in the dinner ticket line. While you are waiting for your dinner ticket to be called go into the hall that sells pastries and handy crafts. Walk around and tour the church and soon you will be ready to eat. They have takeout for those that don't want to wait.Written September 7, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - PNW Art Lover1 contributionAbsolutely great Art Gallery, specializing in beautiful, curated work from Pacific Northwest artists. Friendly Must stop when in the Portland area! - Jeremie and Jak4 contributionsMuch like forest grove itself, it hasn't seen a paint job in forty years, but that being said this was the tallest barber pole I've ever seen. Could have done without all the kids playing soccer a bit noisy. Would recommend going early to avoid the crowds. Parking was a mess.Written July 10, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- yolanta jgainesville54 contributionsApolloni has a very nice inside tasting room as well as an outside patio both of which are pet friendly. There are two different flight tastings at reasonable
prices. The tasting is free with a $50 purchase. Their 2015 Pinot Noir was particularly tasty.Written July 13, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There is an interesting sundial nearby, and a very short, wooded hiking trail, probably not even a mile long. Thatcher road is treacherous and has no bike lanes nor sidewalks, so if you want to bike or walk to this park, you need to avoid Thatcher Road to get there. The dog park is covered in dog poop - few people pick up after their dogs. Many people don't pay any attention to their dogs, so keep an eye on yours, in case there is a not-so-well-behaved dog on the prowl. Neither dog park has any shade - on a hot day, take your own water (the water spout there usually isn't working) and an umbrella.Written April 1, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Cynthia FFair Lawn, NJ3,356 contributionsTallest barber pole in the world is located in this park. A local resident explained to me where to find it, and I took a nice stroll down a paved bike path to the location.
I enjoyed watching both adults and children on bicycles riding up and down various dirt hills. Is this an Oregon thing? I've not seen this in parks in any other city.
This park, as well as others I've passed in Oregon, contains a skateboard park. I haven't seen this back in NJ either.Written August 26, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
