Well worth the hike on a steep 0.5 mile trail to the base of the falls, the third highest in Oregon and the highest in southwest Oregon.
The hike goes through a wonderfull forest with lots of mosses, large trees and flowers.

There is a path to walk on top of the bluff with benches to enjoy the view, and Washed Ashore has a sculpture of a puffin made out of garbage found on the beaches in the park overlooking the ocean.
With a spotting scope or super-zoom camera, you can watch the birds coming in to roost on the biggest rocks at sunset - or look for puffins during nesting season.
