- Laressa S6 contributionsLabor Day, so live band played. Food and beverage vendors, there. Picnic tables with umbrellas. Masks required. Lovely Dahlias that are so different from each other. The colors and shape amazing. Free parking and entrance. Lost my sunglasses and someone gave to Lost and Found...thank you person. Gift shop with so much to choose from. Cut flowers to purchase, seemed everyone walked away with some. Has a catalog to order from. Families and pets were in attendance. Great way to spent a few or more hours out of the house.Written September 19, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - harob100Vancouver, WA22 contributionsWe always look forward to visiting St. Josef's Winery. Everybody is so welcoming, the wines are wonderful..... one of my favorites is the Lilli, a sparkling wine, named after one of the owners.
I am sure we'll be visiting again soon.Written January 8, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. This time I was with my Mother and she said she wanted to go down to relive a memory when she and my Dad would go to watch the ducks and watch the river roll by. They would sit and watch the young kids fishing with their parents.Written May 18, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Suzanne KPortland, OR264 contributionsI have been intrigued by it as I’ve driven by it a couple times and finally took the time to take a little tour.
I found this memorial very touching and informative. It is small enough that you can pay a visit even if you don’t have a lot of time.
There is a number you can dial to follow along with a audio tour. The info is posted on the wall on the west side of the memorial. The audio tour is part of Oregon’s Mt. Hood Heritage Trail series. It is # 9 in the series. Text “hood” to 57682 & followed the link to the mobile site.
While I was there, and there was a man lovingly doing some repair work there.
He clearly has devotion and dedication to this memorial.
He was also kind enough to take a picture of me and my dog with Telnet statue with the three soldiers.
Thank you veterans for your service and for all of those that are dedicated to caring for this memorial.Written January 13, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. But it doesn't bring in vendors that attract a crowd. Even at the height of summer, there is a limited number of food vendors as well as what they offer in fresh produce. It is not worth a trip for us. The other vendors sell home made items, but I have seen them all every year and am just not interested in that type of merchandise. The market has lost vendors over the years and as sad as it is, I would suggest that it just close.Written July 25, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
