We stumbled on this — so interesting to watch it be created, and beautiful to see it completed. We watched from the beach; later we wanted to see it from above but it was crazy busy above with cars, no parking, etc. It’s popular to view!

Find the Lavender Lady at the farmer's market, then buy some Lavender Sea Salt (a "labor of love" as she says). This herb/spice mix is perfect for light white fish like halibut.

The church is located off the main road. They are there for regular church services but also community events. The Pastors have a well known reputation in the community and are known for their love and heart. They do have children's church.

Bandon has a small Catholic following. The services are great. The Father gives a great greating and fellowship overflows from him.

This memorial is dedicated to the Nasomah Indians, who lived here for 3000 years.

Nobody in Bandon knew about these Indians, until someone discovered evidence about that village. The found baskets and other evidence. This happened at 2013.

Several people in Bandon decided to make a memorial. They named it the Nasomah Memorial, after the name of their tribe.

There is an elegant root in the memorial and there is an info panel that described about the Nasomah Memorial

    Worthwhile to see!

This church is all in grey. There are many windows and their pastor has a pastors office.

Inside the carpet is red and the benches are made of wood.

The people here are very friendly.

    Worthwhile to see!

We went to the old (historic) town of Bandon late in the afternoon and was disappointed that several stores were already closed. Some shops closed early that day or were totally closed on the day we were there. Most of the restaurants were open, but several local shops were not open. We asked one of the shop owners why several stores were closed and the owner said it was hard to find staff so shop owners chose to close early or were only open on certain days of the week. The old town looked liked it would be a lot of fun to shop and look around, but it was disappointing when we were there.
