There are several Tulsa Tours available in different price ranges, but I've been on two which take you inside the cathedral and relate the history as well as show you some amazing architectural wonders.
The history on the sought facade depicts the circuit preachers and the apostles on north are beautifully rendered.

The Blue Dome District is true American route 66'ness (if that is a word), it brings a refreshing buzz to Tulsa and makes for a brilliant walk along all the shops and restaurants in the area.
We put our name on the list for brunch and walked over to the murals and Blue Dom, took pics and posted them, then returned to Dilly Diner, and had a wonderful brunch.

In Centennial Plaza is the fantastic 'East meets West' life size bronze sculpture, a Tulsa landmark dedicated to Cyrus Avery, honoring 'the father of Route 66'.
On a girls weekend we flew into Tulsa and stopped by on our way to Pawhuska for some great photos and a history lesson on the famous Route 66.

A slow drive about town surprises visitors with the many striking steepled churches that proudly rise above the more mundane buildings.
Mass times are 0800,1000 and noon so it absolutely helped us as visitors to make it to the Noon mass.

There is a beautifully restored Frisco 4500 Steam Engine, TSU Murray Hill Car, 1917 Vintage Tank Car, a Frisco 1157 Caboose, and several historic Oil Pump Jacks.
There are structures and an old oil derrick on display, but the true gem is the railroad display.
