What a fabulous place to visit. We are retired and really enjoyed it ,but I could see children really enjoying it. There are so many hands-on activities! The films are very well done as well as all of the exhibits!

On a weekend excursion with The Grands and visited Fort Sill. Even though the museum was closed, the outside display of rockets and tanks as well as historic armament kept use throughly interested. The historic buildings and their histories are wonderful. We visited the gave of Geronimo and so many other Native American graves.
Fort Sill is a fully operational Army Base. We even enjoyed eating in the food court if the commissary.
It was a great afternoon full of adventure and learning for us all.

Great visit with The Grands, ages 7&8. Construction is very unique and similar to those found in Israel.
Free to run and make your visit fit your family situation. Also very nice gift shop.

Remarkable preservation. Extremely knowledgeable docent. Woodwork was very interesting. Not the most impressive historical house I’ve toured, but one of the most interesting. Docent was outstanding.

We've visited the grave site of Geronimo many times over the past four decades. While the picture shows the figure on top, it is often missing. Even after replacing it with a new one, it disappears (souvenir?).

Then there are the stories of whether Geromino is truely buried there or if his remains were dug up days after his burial and taken to his homeland of the Arizona mountains. Some say yes, some say no.

Regardless, it's a stop not to pass by.

We haven't taken advantage of some of the events, like the Christmas light show, but it is enjoyable to walk through the park and watch the prairie dogs (at least the ones the city hasn't killed off yet). We also enjoy sitting near the pond, as there usually are many birds to watch.

This was a true find on our most recent visit to Lawton. The Indian art has a bit of an edge to it. But the "creative thought" that went into a "chief" on an Indian cycle or the warrior with and iPhone was thought provoking.

    Do Not Miss this opportunity.

Wasn't allowed in because I didn't have my driver's license. Had a LTC photo ID issued by my state but nope, they wouldn't let me in. Didn't have the same issue at any other OK casino, just this one. Was disappointed, I always enjoy making a donation there.

Comedy Avenue is a fantastic, intimate, New York style comedy club that brings comics in from all over. It’s BYOB, so you’re welcome to bring your favorite beverage to the show. And Andrew does a great job running the venue, even offering free pizza and drawings to some shows. Overall, great addition to the Lawton night life! You should go see a show sometime.
