- OMG, I could just stay in Beaver's Bend permanently!!! It's so Beautiful, and clean, and there's plenty to do, depending on when you go!! My favorite is renting a cabin, having a nice campfire....NO matter if it's Spring, Summer, Fall, or Winter. Nothing like sitting around the campfire, drinking coffee, & enjoying family time. It's Also Great for the romantic get a ways!!! I haven't been in a bit, due to health issues, but looks like we'll be up there in August for my Big 50!!!Written April 19, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Contact Hochatown Pontoon and Boat Rentals for an awesome experience on the lake. The lake was clean and not overcrowded on a weekday. We enjoyed exploring various areas of the lake, floating in inflatables, jumping off rocks into lake, and tubing. Beautiful scenery!Written July 11, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Everyone was so friendly, really glad you’re there. Wine was very tasty. Some really cute gifts and photo opportunities. And some really yummy slushes to go. Did I mention how friendly they all were!?!Written March 28, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- 8 of us, techno 3 families went to zBeavers Bend State Park for a few days. The Park itself is wonderful!! It is so beautiful. They have several hiking trails great for beginners all the way through advanced. There is supposedly just a nature trail but we didn’t find it. We went swimming in lake and did canoeing.
We also rented an on-site cabin (#48). It was beautiful inside but there were definitely some downfalls. It definitely needed power washing. There were a ton of wasps and my sister got stung. We ended up buying spray to get rid of them. On the inside, the main areas were clean (Ie. living room, kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms). However, there were spider webs all throughout the vaulted ceilings. It definitely needed deep cleaning. Only linens were provided. We had to go buy pots, pans, utensils, etc. Broken Bow is a small, expensive tourist towns so prices were definitely jacked up.
Also (not that this is necessarily a negative) but be prepared for no cell service (depending upon provider), Wi-Fi or cable tv ( there was a tv we were only able to watch movies thanks for my nephew who bought his Xbox)
My suggestions before going would be to book a cabin with another company and do your shopping beforehand. Otherwise, it’s a great experience!Written July 11, 2022
- This brewery is actually in Hotchatown, Oklahoma, a resort area outside of Broken Bow. It is a great stopping place along the road, if you have a designated driver. It is hot in July so the beer tasted great. Some of their beers are better than others but their wieners can't be beat :). The staff are really friendly and fun to talk with. They have a great TV on the patio. We even watched some of the Wimbledon.Written July 10, 2022
- Great place to unwind. Family run winery. Everyone is very sweet attentive. Great patio to sit and watch the town roll by. Cute boutique type gift shop. Will definitely return.Written May 14, 2022
- Very good experience! Everyone was friendly, from the waitress to the bartender to the owner who stopped by to check on us and chat. My friend and I enjoyed the wine tasting and loved our meal. I had the strawberry spinach salad which was so fresh and delicious. My friend said her panini was fantastic. We each bought a bottle of wine to enjoy at home. My favorite was the “Solitude” Pinot Grigio, hers was the “Canyon Red” Chambourcin. Highly recommend this lovely place!Written July 8, 2022
- My friend and I were on our b'day we are afraid of heights but after the first zip line the other five were a breeze. the guides were so helpful and we had a lot of fun. We would for sure do it again.Written September 23, 2022
- Great horses that were easy to ride. We loved crossing the river on horseback. The guides were great and the views were fantastic!Written April 13, 2022
- This was the best part of our trip! We loved kayaking. It was challenging but fun. The water was low so we got stuck a lot but that obviously wasn’t their fault. They were waiting on us when we finished.Written September 27, 2022
- A great experience! Incredibly nice folks. Very helpful and organized. They acted like they were happy we were there. Our new place to kayak!!!Written June 15, 2022
- Great experience. The river is peaceful and beautiful. Great family activity. The life jackets are moldy and stinky. Adults do not have to wear the life jacket, but must have them in the boat therefore it was not much of an issue. Thankfully we brought our own life jacket for our 7 year old child, since children must wear life jacket. The beginning of the float is mildly fast, however the rest of the river is very calm and slow moving. The company is very busy especially on the weekends and does a good job moving quickly. Much less busy during the week.Written August 19, 2022
- The massage was everything they said it would be. The therapist was very welcoming and she did a great job. We were definitely relaxed the whole time. They brownies with whipped cream and chocolate covered strawberries were delicious. Will definitely return if we are back in the area.Written January 7, 2020
- We've used Tippa Canoe the last 3 years we've come to Broken Bow for our annual "big family" weekend trip. Always a pleasure to rent from the owners. Super nice people, great prices and nice equipment. We just show up - they bus us to our location, put our kayaks in the water and then take them out for us when we get to the end. Looking forward to next year!Written August 10, 2020
- Kayaked the upper portion of the river. It is definitely more challenging than the lower Fork. We had a great time. It was a short ride to the location for the drop off, and they were waiting when we arrived at the pull out. Definitely need good river shoes. The cheap, soft bottom shoes aren't the best for this portion of the river. Loved every minute.Written July 6, 2017
