What travelers are saying
- dianahunt2000Plano, TX11 contributionsLots of cabin rentals in the area....but, they book way in advance! CALL AHEAD! Also, helicopter rides over the lake are an awesome way to see the fall foliage, etc. Beautiful.Written October 16, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Rylee Gwaltney1 contributionI visited this park on December 2nd-December 4th and actually got engaged here! It was beautiful and we had a fun time! I’m really sad though because somewhere in the park we think the ring box (it is wooden and says “Hrncir” on it) fell out of the car! We had hoped someone would turn it in, but we haven’t heard anything yet. Hoping and praying that it is somehow found! I’ve included a picture of it here!Written January 3, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Jessi J13 contributionsWe took our corgi on Tree Trail. It was a pleasant hike that was relatively easy. There was a nice creek and the trail was easy to follow. We enjoyed walking around the camp ground as well.Written January 22, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - j'smomTexasTyler, TX1,792 contributionsVery good experience! Everyone was friendly, from the waitress to the bartender to the owner who stopped by to check on us and chat. My friend and I enjoyed the wine tasting and loved our meal. I had the strawberry spinach salad which was so fresh and delicious. My friend said her panini was fantastic. We each bought a bottle of wine to enjoy at home. My favorite was the “Solitude” Pinot Grigio, hers was the “Canyon Red” Chambourcin. Highly recommend this lovely place!Written July 8, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Harriet C5 contributionsOur family group consisted of 7 adults with 5 children between infant to 6. We all enjoyed this petting zoo. The kangaroo was a hoot and a little feisty. The staff is very friendly and stay with you to guide through the animals. Some animals are in fences and some roam free. It was a really fun experience.Written September 15, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Jeff MMoore, OK11 contributionsSuch a beautiful serene place. I beg you to PLEASE pick up after yourselves though. I spent an hour just picking up fishing line, fishing line clippings, lures, hooks, and weights along the shoreline of the river. Clearly people just left all this trash and walked away. KEEP OUT STATE BEAUTIFUL, and just take a few moments to take some trash with you or do a quick look around and pick up what you can.Written May 23, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MikeDeb G4 contributionsOnce of my favorite spots! Very relaxing, good service, and they LOVE dogs. We had to stop by a couple of times and the lady (bartender) remembered us the 2nd time. They have water bowls for the dogs, food trucks for humans. Go see them!Written October 19, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Savannah CBroken Bow, OK7 contributionsGreat place, but this is now an Art Gallery & event Center called gallery 259. My husband had one of their wheat beers, which he liked, and I had a local vodka and lemonade, which was made fresh and was tasty. It was quite busy, but we ate outside on the deck and that was nice. It is definitely a loud kind of place, though—very hopping on a Saturday nice.Written October 15, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
