There is ski and snowshoe rental in the winter, wildflowers in the spring, a grand viewing spot for 4th of July fireworks (just climb up to the quarry overlook... you'll see fireworks all along the lakeshore), and...
You can hike to the overlook from either one, and, especially on a clear day, you'll have a wonderful view of downtown Cleveland and Lake Erie from there.

We loved the amazing views of lake Erie and we saw many animals - deer, wild turkeys, herons, buzzards, and many other kinds of birds.
But we did enjoy the sun the walk the birds the view.

What a phenomenally beautiful park! Autumn in all its glory and also saw juncos, redpolls, Bonaparte gulls, Carolina wren, blue jays, and Canada geese.
