We were welcomed and shown round by two excellent and knowledgeable guides, Cleo and Laura, who told us so much about the history of the house and about the incomparable Miss Jane Austen and her family.
Really worth visiting - especially if you are lucky enough to be shown around by Jeremy Knight, a descendant of Edward (Austen) Knight who grew up in the house and has many tales about the house and it’s history.
