... are lovely with a outstanding children's garden; but what really stands out is the Conservatory with a number of different environments including a wonderful butterfly garden with many varieties of butterflies .
Rediscovered this place after many years, there is something to see every month, from tulips in the spring, flowering trees in April, the special exhibits like the wildlife topiaries - endless discovery!

Visited the National Veterans Memorial & Museum during the generous Columbus Foundation "The Big Explore" event - opening up many local arts & sciences attractions to the public for free!
Hands on exhibits really bring home the effort of our soldiers when one tries to lift the pack they carried in the blazing hot desert or sees the surgical kits used in the jungles on soldiers who stepped on a mine.

The Central Ohio Fire Museum is a great place for kids and adults to visit in downtown Columbus There is a small entrance fee and the people are friendly and helpful.
He was very informative and able to answer all the questions we had.Not a huge museum but lots of great history there.

Some of my favorite exhibits are the Conway Mastodon, Hopewell culture effigy pipes, Civil War battle flags, Ohio built automobiles, and the thematic furniture exhibits.
