I drove out here with my wife to see the Evelyn De Morgan art exhibition on display. It's situated in the middle of Burnley in a large centra park. We paid about £5 entrance fee each and took a walk round the house to see all the displays. The art is on display at the top of the house, but there are some other wonderful exhibits on view showing how the family lived. They were of Catholic heritage so I was not surprised there there is a priest hole on display and historically there were about 7 in the building.

The art works upstairs were magnificent. We both like the pre-raphaelite period for the detail of the works and there was plenty of this to view. The paintings are alarmed but you can get right up close and see the exhibits in all their finery. Much better than looking at an unmade bed or a shark in a tank of formaldehyde.

Anyone interested in Art should pay a visit before the paintings are removed and set up elsewhere. Visitors will not be disappointed. I only wish I could have uploaded some photo's but something was wrong with my iPad so I can't add anything. This means visitors will have to come and see for themselves and not just take my word for it.

Easy to get to. Nice views, lots of litter everywhere and just soo much vandalism. It’s quite sad because the spot is so lovely.

Visit here 29th April - Not my choice to visit but I was wrong and this turned out to be an excellent place, very atmospheric and with lovely friendly staff. Thanks to Richard who brought the place to life.

I will look forward to taking people there when they visit.

    THANK YOU

Decided to eat here as we found ourselves driving past at lunchtime. We were not disappointed. We had the big moo sandwiches. They certainly lived up to the name; plenty of beef and very tasty. The staff were very friendly too. We also indulged in the cakeaway. Would eat here again.

A well used and well tended park. Disappointing that the toilets were locked when we visited and that the cafe is summer only.

My wife and I went for lunch today and had a pleasant surprise. We both had the Club Sandwich and really enjoyed it. We had a table with a nice view over Pendle, we chose that over a smaller table with more comfortable chairs. Very attentive and pleasant staff took our orders and food was served efficiently and fast. Generous portions with good food. Only negative for us was that they could have turned the volume of music down a bit, but that's not enough for it not to be recommended.

Everything. From start to finish we were made very welcome. Brenda has lots of knowledge of the history of Pendle Hill. Thoroughly enjoyed our trip and would recommend her tours.

An excellent day here at the park and a great ride on the miniature train. My daughter loved it. We were also greeted by a lovely, friendly lady named Diane(or Diana). She took our money and chatted to us while we waited for our turn. Our daughter was a bit unsure while waiting for the train and this lady made her smile. As soon as the train set off, our daughter was all smiles!
We felt the train was really good value for money and enjoyed it even as adults! Definitely worth a ride if you’re nearby!
