Although this church was built in Victorian times, it is full of history with a delightful memorial, presented by Queen Victoria, to Princess Elizabeth, daughter of Charles I, who died in Carisbrooke Castle.
We went in because they have a cafe, which was very good and the church is lovely rebuilt in Victorian times nevertheless there is a lot of history super church to walk round and very calm and peaceful if you need...

This is a fine Victorian church that is welcoming to visitors and inspiring from within and without; it's spire is a key sight from the sea too
Approaching Ryde one can see it's high spire where there is a webcam giving sweeping views of The Solent.

Beautiful church full of history really friendly volunteers, superb views of river , but still very much a place of worship
