We had a lovely time seeing all the animals and birds; owls, goats, sheep, pigs, Shetland ponies, rabbits, red squirrels, chipmunks, alpacas, peacocks, geese, ducks etc.

Well worth visiting this wonderful gardens and parkland, especially at this time of year when the azaleas, rhododendrons, camellias and even peonies all out as well as a superb selection of trees.
Hergest Croft Gardens is set out beautifully and provides interest all year round with the azalea garden; maple grove; kitchen garden, park wood and the park as well as the croft.

There is a well marked path from Kington all the way to the top and then all the way to the other end at Gladestry but there are many secondary paths making circular walks very easy.
This is a great place to bring the kids so they can run around, fly a kite or just check out nature.
