The beach is lovely and quiet with lots of little shells to collect and pools for the little ones to go nature hunting in.
The beach has plenty of parking spaces and has toilets, a BBQ area, a park and a little portable cafe and is round the corner from shoeburyness high street that has a few shops and pubs around.

Lovely park to walk my dog in makes a nice change from Priory Park which is in walking distance from were I live, easy to park the car nice flower beds, great park.

Priory park is wonderful at any time of the year, with its historical priory, playground, fishing lake, bandstand, tennis courts and lots of open space makes it perfect for picnics.
Priory park also has a walled garden with a beautiful pond with lilies and an abundance of flowers in the summer a true joy to walk around time and time again imagining all those years ago the monks doing exactly...

We live on the Garrison and walk in Gunners Park most days and have to say that it has something for everyone i.e. a play area for children/skatepark for older children which is very popular and just a short walk...
The site has a LNR (Local Nature Reserve) - the western half of the park and a large enclosed SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest) - designated for regionally scarce flora.
