Hige body of water offers several boat launches, a swimming area with beach, lots of areas to fish off shore, marina, boat rentals, picnic areas, dog park, playgrounds and lots of open space, trails, and paths.
Lots of great areas of this park including fishing spots on a nice, calm lake where you can watch the boats go by

There are also many trails in the wooded areas, multiple picnic and playground areas, and a top-notch campground.
The Delaware Lake picnic area was a perfect place to picnic, play, hike and relax.

There is also bird watching windows where you can stay dry and warm while observing all the birds, squirrels, and chipmunks that come to visit.
Chilly and grey, but lovely walk on dirt paths thru 3 distinct bird areas - wetlands, grasslands and through woods.

Stratford is a non-profit educational organic farm and nature preserve, very welcoming spot to educate school kids and the public and showcase the wonders of the outdoors.
Great place to explore, hike, interact with some animals.

The park updated in 2018 so part of the grass paths are now paved with fine gravel making it easier for many to walk and much easier if you have a wheelchair.

The Preserve is well-maintained and you will often spot squirrels, various birds, deer, raccoons, and now that the weather has warmed, the occasional snake.
Had a great night hike a few years back searching for and listening to owls.

We checked out one of the mounds, hiked another trail, went down to the river to search for crayfish, and explored the Nature Center—beautiful, fun, and very relaxing as well!
