The tour guide was very knowledgeable and engaging, full of neat stories of W.T Sherman's upbringing and life, and liked to play neat little guessing games with us as to what this and that was.
We were given an excellent tour by a very knowledgeable docent who presented an interesting account of the Sherman family, particularly the early years while they lived there until the 1840’s.

Visited the National Veterans Memorial & Museum during the generous Columbus Foundation "The Big Explore" event - opening up many local arts & sciences attractions to the public for free!
Hands on exhibits really bring home the effort of our soldiers when one tries to lift the pack they carried in the blazing hot desert or sees the surgical kits used in the jungles on soldiers who stepped on a mine.
