I've been to many interactive science museums including London's own many times, but this is my favourite.
You can mix a visit to the fascinating and beautiful Castle and Gardens but this Science Museum is wonderful on its own.

There is so much to do here, the medieval keep, 7 acres of beautiful gardens, walking around the moat, bronze age roundhouse, the metal forge, rope museum, children's playground and of course the main house itself.
A huge barn (1587-1610) stands next to a working forge and a tiny museum of cord making.

As a charity staffed by volunteers who risk their lives to save others, shops and museums like this are vital to support this amazing service.
Informative and well presented museum with artefacts and a great shop with quality gifts and practical items.

Spent an enjoyable afternoon; first-rate museum with a lot of fine classic cars and a long and well-tended wildlife walk that featured a vast array of wildfowl.
This is a great place to visit, the motor museum has some very unusual and amazing cars and motor bikes, together with a vast array of wildfowl and a restaurant with great food.
