Parking was difficult. It's in the middle of a town. The (free) lot only holds like a dozen cars, then there is street parking around the cenote, but it's being used by people in the town, not just people going to the cenote.

It was only $4USD to get in, which was by far the least expensive cenote we visited. They had bathrooms for like 30 cents.

Life jackets are optional, but I would suggest taking one down. It's a big cenote, so swimming the whole time would be tiring.

This cenote is pretty, but the main enjoyable feature for us was cliff jumping. You can jump from five feet right from the area that most people enter. You may be able to jump from about ten feet at the top of the stair area, but nobody jumped from there, so I'm not sure. What we enjoyed the most was jumping from the platform that is probably thirty feet high. No other cenote we visited had anything close to that high. I tried to jump from a place where there was a break in the wall that was probably thirty five feet, but the lifeguard blew a whistle at me to not do it.

There is supposedly a man-made waterfall that they only turn on Saturdays and Sundays, but we weren't there for that. It looks like it would be pretty.

You can only visit this private house by guided tour and there are five tours each day. We went on the 2pm tour. There are 3,000 plus pieces of Mexican folk art throughout the house / mansion. Admission is “free” but suggested donation is min $100 pp.

    Overall a great tour.

One of the best part of my trip in Valladolid was my experience at Zazil Tunich.
The experience itself was truly magical. I arrived in valladolid and made a last minute reservation to their dinner experience. The staff and receptionist went above and beyond to arrange my transportation there and back to my hotel as I was traveling late and alone. The service was impeccable, the meal delicious and the guided tour very insightful.

A night Swim alone at night in the Cenote was truly the highlight of my trip! I would highly recommend this experience especially to solo travelers!

It's quite picturesque and we arrived early enough, at 0930, that we avoided the crowds. Some memorable pictures to make in the more famous of the two cenotes -- though not as impressive as some underground places on the coast. The second one is not so special but worth checking out too since included in the price anyway. We didnt try the food.

Great knowledgeable guide and awesome local initiative to help the bees. Products made from honey were also really good, in short a good experience to learn and taste great products!

The evening show is worth the money you spend (it's free.) I suppose it's a good thing to do between dining and a bar. It is very pleasant to sit outside. At the end, there are dancers and drummers looking for tips from the crowd. The museum tour is not that exciting but it's nice to explore the grounds and the rooms. It wasn't that expensive and is a good way to fill your time.

We stopped at Hacienda Oxman Cenote as part of a tour with My Quest Concierge having just visited Chichén Itzá in the hot sun for a dip in the cenote to cool down. On arriving we were quickly shown to the changing rooms to prepare ourselves for a swim.

There is a viewing area at the top of the cenote that looks down into the large open limestone hole with deep blue water, vines hanging down and the sun illuminating the inside. One thing I would say is that water shoes are essential as there is a little walk and a lot of steps (around 70) down into the cenote and I would imagine they could be a little slippery with wet people coming out.

Once down in the cenote it really opens up, there are plenty of areas around the water for spectators to stand, watch and take photos. It is incredible! The water is cool but not cold, the sun really does a good job in making it feel warmer. There is a mandatory requirement to wear a life vest as in reality this cenote is a big deep blue hole!

There are wooden steps down into the water or for the more adventurous a rope swing that allows you to enter in style! Just remember to HOLD ON!!!

At the top near the changing rooms there is plenty of options to get a drink or a bite to eat if you are hungry, plus plenty of photo ops with the hacienda itself! Be sure to keep an eye out also as there are plenty of iguanas basking in the sun on walls and the grassed lawn!

Took a day trip to Chichen Itza and then to the cenote for a swim and this place is something everyone should experience at least once in their lifetimes. To say this cenote is beautiful is a serious understatement and doesn't do it justice.

This place was AWESOME. Beautiful and not super expensive. They had rappelling and stuff but I’m scared of heights so I didn’t do that. I did get food with them and it was SO good. The people were nice and one of the guys spoke perfect English. It is in the middle of nowhere so that was kind of scary, but it was worth it.

Easy touristic trip. A 15min taxi ride or collectivo bus from center. We did this with a 4 year and 2 year old and was fun. The water is just warm enough for the kids. Life jackets included and they have small sizes for young kids.

it's a little intimidating to see the steps basically going underground at palomitas, but once you get over that you are rewarded by an absolutely stunning sight. Absolutely gorgeous.

The Zocálos are a real boon to every town and city in Mexico. Genuine community spaces, often attractive, green, paths, seats, market stalls, entertainment etc. Valladolid is no different. Lovely.
