... has a treehouse that my kids thought was awesome, and it has complementary snorkel gear, kayaks to use, stand up paddle boards to use, and the sand toys they have were a blessing for us since our kids loved them!

We explored Mayan ruins, went nature exploring in kayaks, did a brief pineapple farm tour where the kids made pineapple juice, and ate a delicious lunch--probably one of our favorite meals of the whole cruise.
Our children were enthralled with everything he taught us, from birds in the region, local wildlife, folk lore, mangroves, coconuts and turtles!

And the visit to the Mayan family house was awesome Doña Vicky y Don Gregorio were excellent hosts, the food was amazing.
Our small group 8 people and two guides then toured the temples and plazas, and were given a delicious private lunch at a local family-operated restaurant (the "big pineapple" - fantastic fresh pineapple juice!).

I have been Mahahual more than a few times, while the beach may have a few too many pushy sales guys, the beach itself is amazing for kids, families, as the water is super warm and calm.
