Excellent value, and of the wineries we visited, these were our favorite wines.
It's a beautiful winery with an amazing gigantic tree where you can enjoy your wine while underneath the shade.
#3 of 49 Food & Drink in Valle de Guadalupe
It's a bit further down the road than the majority of Guadalupe wineries and vineyards but we highly recommend it.
Great winery, excellent service, delicious wine, beautiful sceney

We are a wine group that has visited many wineries over the years, from Napa, Sonoma, Alexander Valley, Dry Creek, Paso Robles, Temecula, Mendoza and Valle de Guadalupe.
Jim, with all of his amazing knowledge, gave us a tour of the vineyards and cave, while Hilda prepared wonderful tapas for us to go with our tasting!
El Cielo Valle de Guadalupe Ejido El Porvenir
#5 of 49 Food & Drink in Valle de Guadalupe
El Cielo ranks among the top wineries for its combination of Ambience, good food at reasonable prices, and surprisingly good wine.

We have visited many of the wineries and they are all amazing, but Decantos was special, and for a young and newer winery it exceeded our expectations.
We were fortunate to be personally invited to visit Decantos by #Alejandro to visit his family's winery in Valle De Guadalupe.

A great place to visit.... Very professional presentation and far exceeded many wine country wineries.
If your goal is to buy decent wines rather than to see beautiful wineries, LA Cetto is worth the stop.

Unlike some other wineries, the staff are knowledgeable and talk freely about their wines and describe about the cultivation and process.
Great wine, complementary tour of the facilities, and a stunning 2nd floor open air patio overlooking the vineyards!

They even gave us a map of the valley to help us navigate to other wineries and a magazine to take with us (Ensenada beer fest here we come!)
From the time we were greeted at the gate by Mike and the canine greeting committee thru the wine tasting in the charming shady outdoor space, and the relaxed winery tour, we had a lovely time.

One of our go back to wineries for great wines but also ceviche and pizza.
There are Blue agave plants all over this vineyard and the mountain range makes it seemed like its untouched by man.
#14 of 49 Food & Drink in Valle de Guadalupe
This is the second time we visited this winery and we normally hesitate to revisit the same wineries because there are so many we want to try!
Possibly my favorite memory of a full day of winery hopping in Valley de Guadalupe was at Lechuza Vineyard, sitting on a bench around a little table to the side of the tasting patio set apart from the main area, w...

We had planned to stop at more wineries after we left, but it was a Tuesday and we knew that very few of the smaller wineries would be open, so we took a drive around the valley (to be honest…we got a little lost...
Best of the best boutique wineries

There are some architecturally beautiful wineries in this valley, but this funky place (not beautiful, but very cool) has a theme of overturned boats.
One of the 2 wineries where I bought wine
Vinicola Emeve Ejido El Porvenir
#18 of 49 Food & Drink in Valle de Guadalupe
We did visit quite a few wineries but Emeve was the most impressive one in terms of cleanliness, wine quality and price.
A fantastic place with the deck ready for tasting and a full view of the vineyards.
#19 of 49 Food & Drink in Valle de Guadalupe
You should definitely visit this winery if you're interested in visiting some of the better wineries in the valley.
Great winery to sit outside and enjoy some food and wine.

It is totally opposite from the big commercial wineries in the Valle. The only bummer is that we can only bring back one bottle each to the US.
Why is Solar Fortun my new favorite winery in Valle Guadalupe: - Location: Check (under old growth oak trees in a side valley with a terrific breeze even when it was over 95*F/40*C in the Valle) - Wine: Check (eas...

Cannot be complimentary enough about how we were welcomed and served which was in stark contrast, as we found later, to some other wineries in the area.
Awesome hand-built artisanal winery.
#22 of 49 Food & Drink in Valle de Guadalupe
My husband and I️ adore this winery!
#23 of 49 Food & Drink in Valle de Guadalupe
This is a family-owned business with plenty years in the industry that besides making wine, it sells grapes to other wineries in the valley.
He was so friendly (spoke immaculate English) and gave us an interesting and hands-on tour through the winery.
Chateau Camou Ejido El Porvenir
#24 of 49 Food & Drink in Valle de Guadalupe
Really beautiful drive to Chateau Camou from LA. Loved tasting all the wines here in this French style vineyard but totally classic Mexican.
It's the only winery in which I can really say I enjoyed all of their wines!

This vineyard was very quiet when we visited.
I will visit this winery again.
#30 of 49 Food & Drink in Valle de Guadalupe
The vineyard is a beautiful sight and there is a terrace perfect for enjoying the view while you do the wine tasting.
The tour, conducted by Sr. Garza, clearly showed that Vinas de Garza still has a long way to go; but, as Sr. Garza said, a winery is a project for generations of a family.
#31 of 49 Food & Drink in Valle de Guadalupe
Cava Maciel wines a must, excellent boutique winery, had a really good time with the staff.
We make to el valle and visit a different winery and have a list of must try and this will be on the list.

La Lomita is always a special winery for us, and we decide to take some very good friends to enjoy a delicious wine and creat great memories!!!
A nice gift shop, wonderful view, and only a short walk through the romantic vineyard to get to the very up and coming restaurant, Traslomita (behind Lomita).
