- LS13 contributionsWent to Sunny beach Aquapark today as a couple and was brilliant! Easy to book and would recommend to do this as can pretty much walk straight into park then! We went on Monday 2nd September and was super quiet walked straight on everything! Plenty of sun loungers & pools catered for all ages really can’t go wrong for £20 each! Lots of food option to choose from and reasonably priced.
We also used the free shuttle bus service that was easy to locate big sign for the bus stop and comes very frequently to & from bang on time!
Only improvement I’d say would be more signpost or a map of rides if you can ride with/without rubber ring. The rides are pretty good and set at a not too bad price, But...and yes its a big BUT...the staff are quite rude,inexperienced, and the health and safety of Britain would have a field day. They need to employ experienced engineers for the rides and arcades. Apart from my little moan...have a go and make your own minds up, its the only way...As you walk through Sunny beach you will notice wherever there is spare land there is a dodgem track lol no different to the one in the park and they're a lot cheaper if you want to save some money.
Sunny beach has a short season June till the end of September so like everywhere else business people need to make their living.
The best hotel I have experienced is Laguna Park I stay there every year, Loads to do for the family, has its own aqua park, food is good and the staff are excellent.

We crossed this road with ease and headed to the main entrance. We were greeted with a very friendly smile from a guy who was very knowledgeable covering everything needed before we began. My husband and I paid 60levs each for just over 15 minutes of racing. We had a blast!! 15 minutes was long enough for us although they do offer different times etc. We didn’t book, just turned up. One thing to note, these karts have no power steering so prepare for an arm work-out!! Brilliant English gave us great advice on excursions and made us feel at ease with the Jeep safari forest lodge we booked. Was great with our son and my son took a shine to him which is good as hes normally quite shy. The excursion was brilliant. The guide was really funny and brilliant English aswell

- Seamus LanganBallyshannon, Ireland4 contributionsWent to Sunny Beach with great expatiations for a wonderful holiday however despite doing some research and seeing nice reviews I mistakenly thought that regular things like city walks, scenic streetscapes, churches, nice gardens etc. could be found there, but no. only one area fits into that category in my opinion. The old town of Nessebar, it is a fabulous place to visit however to find things to fill 2 full days there would be a serious stretch. If you like sun, drinking most of the day and crowded places. Then is is a good place to go. The food is also very affordable as is alcohol. No comfort in the restaurants or bars for that matter if your a non smoker, smoking is allowed everywhere. Health & Safety is not a priority in this area of Bulgaria as far as I could see, Broken footpaths, low hanging road signs, trip hazards everywhere, inadequate lighting in some areas & miles and miles of apartments and hotels. I am only posting this review to advise people that if your holiday consists of Night Life, Bars and Sun soaking then you have chosen the correct place. If you want to see scenic streetscapes, have nice city walks & beach promenade walks, want to sit and have a meal or a drink without smoke blowing into your face then give this place a miss. The sunsets were lovely as we chose 2 well positioned Air B & B apartments which were fabulous and next to shoreline. One in St Vlas and the other to the south of Nessebar.
