    Zhangjiajie is beautiful and you should have a guide
    If you ever go to Zhangjiajie, you must go with LJ as your tour guide. LJ grew up in the area before it became a tourist destination and knows the area so very well. He knows where to go and makes your trip very easy. Being from the area he can also tell you the life of the Tujia people and how they live. The stories make me appreciate the ZJJ area even more. LJ is very friendly, helpful and very very knowledgeable. 100% recommend! ZJJ is a stunning national park.

    Four Great Days in Zhangjiajie
    This tour was amazing! It hit all the main spots and had spectacular views after spectacular views. The tour included Zhangjiajie, Canyon, Dragon Caves, Tiamen Mountain, Heaven’s Gate, and Golden Brook stream walk. I highly recommend that you request Vicky. She was super flexible and added scenic spots to the tour even though they took over an extra hour. After the tours she drove us to lunch places and helped us order. Vicky also gave us great advice on evening activities, such as the Xiang Xi/ Fairy Fox Shows and 71 Stilted Qilou building.

    Awesome! High School History Class comes to Life!
    Everything you would want it to be and more! I knew nothing about Zhangjiajie, except that my daughter had learned about it in high school and wanted to go. So I booked this excursion blindly and it was fabulous! Wendy was our tour guide and she went above and beyond to make our day great. From hotel pickup to history, and culture of the National park she was right on point. The mountains were beautiful, the cable car was fun, and we had a great day. Wendy took the time to show us some sites that were off the beaten path and was so very patient with all of the pictures we took. She even recommended some things for our next day that was an amazing day as well. Hint: We went at the end of August and had no lines or crowds. We were told the weeks before were crazy crowded.

    I strongly recommend
    All the places Chandler took us worth very much visiting, there are breathtaking views. Me and my father we never had seen anything like that before. Our guide gave good tips about food, photo places and to avoid lines. It was great, I strongly recommend. 👏🏽

    Very comfortable and unforgettable 2 day Zhangjiajie trip
    The tour was organised by Andy after sharing with him what we would like to cover during in the trip. Our tour guide is Gabby, a young lady, who is friendly with well speaking English and everything was well planned by her during our trip. We love the scenery, the nice weather and the no crowd /short queue to the various famous spots at Avatar mountain and Tianmen Mountain.

    Great tour guide
    She is fluent in both English and Chinese. Lead us to all possible way and kept on asking if the speed of walking is OK and also check in on us every now and then

    Fox Lady Show with private driver
    We were so lucky to get Andy our driver for the evenings entertainment. He got our tickets for us and Andy walked us right inside the theatre and made the entry so easy and run very smoothly. He also told us a lot about the area of Zhangjiajie in a short space of time and had really good travelling tips.
    Andy is a very caring and welcoming person and is an outstanding guide. Thank you so very much Andy đź‘‹

    LJ great English speaking guide of Zhangjaijie
    This is a review of our Zhangjjajie portion of a longer 11 day personal China tour with Marco Polo Tours. We were assigned LJ as guide and were asked if it would be ok if Daniel joined us as he was training. Some technical difficulty reaching LJ prior to arrival, but once cleared up LJ very responsive to communications via WeChat. LJ and driver met us late night at train station and drove us to hotel which was Harmony Resort. Some issues there as we are in off season, but overall, nice. The next morning we met LJ, Daniel and driver in lobby and went to Glass bridge and Bailong lake. LJ picked a nice place for lunch afterwards and we asked to go to market for snacks which was not a problem. The evening was to ourselves. We had a massage at hotel spa. The next day we did the National park. That was well paced and LJ was entertaining and informative. Daniel acted as our personal photographer. 🤩we declined going out to lunch and asked to stop at market for snacks again before being dropped back at hotel for evening. The next day we went to Heaven’s Gate before being dropped at train station for our next destination. LJ was very clear on timing and options available. We chose to take a shorter walking route and escalators up and down because of timing. He even took my husband to find a store to fix his broken phone screen.
    LJ spoke very good English and was very informative on a wide range of topics. We would highly recommend LJ for Zhangjaijie area.

    Amazing and unforgettable tour
    Amazing tour with spectacular landscapes and detailed explanations from the competent guide Eric Denny about the region, its legends and customs. I was very pleased with the itinerary, the professionalism and the knowledge of the guide about the places visited. Unmissable tour in Zhangjiajie (Land of Avatars).

    Amazing Tour of 3 days: wonderful places, very good driver and fantastic guide!
    With this tour we saw all that we wanted to see; the days are intense but you have a lot of time. For 3 days don't think for the tickets, the bus and the organization is nice. The driver was really good and super punctual, but the star was our guide: she knows all about the places, she speaks very well and she is super friendly. I really appreciate the info about the time of travel (bus, cablecar,...) and the snacks that she gives us from her bags (like Mary Poppins). She was also very helpful with a lot of advice for the evening. Super Tour, super locations and Super Team.

    nice tour fair price
    Lily is a nice soul and I had a great time visiting the cave, as well as the service of pick up and drop off was quick and precise. five stars also for the contact's service via WhatsApp always ready to answer.

    China Highlights - Zhangjiajie, Hallelujah Mountains, Tianmen Cave, Glass Bridge
    Bree was our China Highlights guide for this two day stay. When she met us she wore Miao costume and sang a charming and sad sounding song about courting. She spoke English as if it were her first language and said her sister taught her. I think she was good linguist and a very nice person. We went with her in a fast spacious gondola where we practised English with two teenagers. The scenery, of steep eroded peaks and improbable vegetation growing from crevices, is captivating. We admired the Tianmen cave along with thousands of other visitors but somehow Bree found uncrowded places for viewing and good timing to avoid cable car crowds.
