- Amanda WMorehead City, NC255 contributionsWhat a great spot! The beer garden was so comfortable and friendly. The crowd was nice, great live music, and the beer was great too!Written October 11, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Michele M3 contributionsSecond visit to this cool little museum, and even though it is small if Oriental interests you at all, you should stop in and check it out. Enjoyed it very much, and the lady hosts were very friendly, just like the rest of Oriental. Wish I could retire here!!Written April 28, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Audrey R9 contributionsLovely art - painting, jewelry, ceramic, glass, wood - for sale at good prices. The friendly folks working there are happy to help with information (including calling the artist for me) and assistance. We all walked away with something new for our homes and gifts as well.Written October 12, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - once burned twice shyOriental, NC38 contributionsWent there a few times and couldn't find anything worth the money, or any items worth negotiating for. More of a junk yard and old usless stuff place. Might be right for some, but not in our lane at all.Written March 9, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Teresa AGoldsboro, NC335 contributionsLearned to sail- and it was great!!
We took ASA 101 and ASA 102, each in two day blocks. Our instructors were really kind and patient, taught us a massive amount of information, both practical/ hands on sailing skills, and the information we needed to be both safe sailing a boat, as well as reviewing what we needed to know for the ASA 101 and 102 exams.
We each got to practice the required sailing skills until we were comfortably confident we could do them on our own. Jim, the person in charge of Bow to Stern, has a vast knowledge of sailing and sailboats. He helped us narrow down what is important to us, if we choose to purchase a sailboat someday. Super helpful. All in all a really great experience and well worth the time and money spent! Highly recommended!Written December 7, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. He took us from River Dunes in Oriental, NC to Beaufort via the Intracoastal Waterway. We had our college age daughter and her friend with us and Andy made them feel right at home. You will not find a more easy going, kind, knowledgeable and capable Captain. We saw dolphins too! We had fun AND learned new things about the area history. We lunched at Moonraker’s in Beaufort, then Andy took us to a nearby island for a swim. Between Captain Andy and everyone at River Dunes it was a stellar weekend adventure! Highly recommend!Written July 16, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
