What travelers are saying
- anagirlElmira, NY163 contributionsThis place is huge. Aisles were big which is a big plus. I bought a few things. The stuff I was looking for were overpriced. My mom would of loved the Big Bobs statue. If I'm ever in Mooresville again I will come back. Hopefully prices will drop.Written December 11, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- beachlovernc2015Leland, NC2,042 contributionsNice place to spend some time. Folks working there were very friendly. The place it self is well laid out and had a lot of interesting things - a few craft type items mixed in for fall decor. Prices were very good. Would definitely stop again if back in the area.Written October 4, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Steven WSacramento, CA1,347 contributionsVisited on a Saturday. Lots of activity and plenty of great stuff to check out. Produce was fresh and high quality with great variety. We also got some fresh seafood (snapper and scallops). There was also a truck selling tasty apple doughnuts and some delicious sampling of BBQ sauces. Plenty of fun things to try and definitely worth a visit.Written October 15, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - David BWest Jefferson, NC4,942 contributionsStopped by for my first visit and discovered a 50% sale on everything due to closing soon. Inventory was low but a few deals can be found. Great old building.Written May 21, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- movinandgroovin2018Atlanta, GA44 contributionsA wonderful tribute and acknowledgement of Dale Sr's accomplishments and honors. While the museum is free to visit, hours are sporadic. Check the DEI facebook page or call for the hours and times to visit.
This was one of many stops to various NASCAR museums and tours in the Charlotte area. I was disappointed to see that while the interior is beautifully maintained, the exterior is not. Had we not known in advance what the DEI buildings looked like, we could have easily passed by the location. For a driver of his caliber, I expected more upkeep and maintenance, and I definitely expected the museum to be open more often than it is.
The gift shop was fun and the lady who checked us out could not have been sweeter.Written February 10, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
