We went as a big group celebrating some friends. Tawny was very knowledgeable about wine and we loved learning about the history of the vineyard. I've never liked Riesling wine until I tried MM's Dry Riesling. I even bought a bottle to take home. The views are beautiful as well.

I frequent this theatre regularly with my family. The staff is always very friendly. The theater itself is always clean and the seats recline a little which make it very comfortable

On August 13, 2011, I made a birthday jump at the Carolina Skydiving site. I arranged the jump months early because I wanted to have the chance to enjoy the anticipation. Like many events in life they come and pass, the act in it's self over in a flash. For several months I awoke with the thoughts of the adventure ahead of me, The day of the jump I awoke and the pre jump thoughts were with me.
It was as I anticipated, wonderful, different and grand over quickly!
The last seven years have been filled with the joy of life, bringing many rewards, heartaches, pains and being thankful to a merciful God and forgiving Jesus Christ. I would love to jump again. I believe the business is closed now.

Having taken 2 tubing trips with Hometown River Company, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. In fact, we went 2 Sundays in a row because it was such a relaxing, good time. After having tubed the New River, we wanted to give the Yadkin a try. We were able to get reservations on Sun by calling the day before. Received top notch, personal service from the owner, Brian. He dropped us off in Ronda and we floated back to the Crater Park access in Elkin, which is directly across the river from Hometown River Co. It was a relaxing, 4 hr float with very little maneuvering to avoid hazards. We called Brian as soon as we made it to the dock and he made it around to the other side of the river to pick us up, in minutes. There was no getting out of the water and carrying your tube across bridges or having to pick up your tube and walk while in the river to get to a depth where you could float again, like at the New, and the entry and exit points were easy, with no rocks to slip on. Plus, Jonesville is a much closer drive to Winston Salem than Todd. After the top-notch service and relaxing, trouble-free float we experienced with Hometown River Co on the Yadkin River, we will never tube the shallow, rocky New again. Give Brian and the Hometown River Co a try. You won't be disappointed.
